Opioids Kratom safe with lithium & clozapine

I'm wondering if it would be safe for my brother to use kratom for pain, but isn't sure if it is contraindicated with his regular meds. I didn't have much luck determining the risk given the complex pharmacological profile of each substance. So, does anyone have any info or experiences with the substances in question?
