Opioids Kratom more cost effective than pills??

Is Kratom more cost-effective than buying say, hydros or oxys?

For example, 5oz of kratom at 9 grams a dose = ~15 doses. (no tolerance)

Additionally, a 30mg roxy = ~3 doses. (no tolerance)

I dont think you can name prices, but most people can get 2 roxy30's for the same price as 5oz kratom...

6 doses v 15 doses for the SAME PRICE

I understand the highs are different, but still... damn.

Anyone else notice this?
 
Just tried Kratom for the first time last night. I made it into a tea, used about 5 or 6 grams of premium grade and I couldn't tell the difference between that dose of Kratom and 2 Lortab 10's IMO.
 
Man only use kratom when you want to get clean or in need of some relief of wd's. Why do a cost/quanity on something when you know which one you prefer,

^I wish 6 grams of kratom felt like 20mg hydro... 8)

I did it because the difference is so big. Its half as expensive
 
I'd stick with the Kratom use, as long as you can. Even if it ends up a bit more expensive. But if it gets you off then it's worth it. Opiates might be too much trouble in the long run.
 
It doesn't feel quite as good, but it's so much more cost effective. I stopped doing heroin because kratom is so much cheaper.
 
Pharmaceutical opiates are the most expensive option for an opiate high. Any other opiate is cheaper per-dose than the "good" pharmaceutical opiates...

Kratom would have to be significantly cheaper per dose, otherwise people wouldn't take it, as it is by most accounts less recreational than oxy...

Wow Im surprised that switch was possible! Yeah it doesnt feel near as good but hey, youre saving money. Mix it with bud and its similar enough =D

I always hear people talking about how expensive kratom is, with all the grades of leaf, but really even the nicest leaf is cheaper than street pharm opiates. Go nature! :D

Kratom for me doesnt really do anything besides nausea in high doses. Less fun drug than redbull for me. So it wouldnt be more cost effective even if it was free
 
This thread should have been closed ages ago; we don't discuss drug pricing.

No, kratom is not cost effective for replacing high dose opioids.
