There is no difference in effect from how you consume it, tea vs gel caps, only how quickly it hits you. After so many years with kratom... making tea really isn't worth the effort to me. You'll be buzzed either way within 45min on empty stomach.
It's all the same plant. The colors refer to the age of the leaf when harvested, but it's the same strain and same tree.
Red, the oldest most mature leaves, the weakest color in terms of effects. Red lacks the stimulation of green and white leaves, but this doesn't necessarily make it worse. In terms of subjective effects, it's the closest kratom gets to other opioids like oxycodone.
Green is semi mature leaf, balanced. White is a young leaf.... yellow is a mix of red + white. Gold is red + green + white.
Most people gravitate towards green, because it is objectively the strongest of the 3, and also returns the highest alkaloids on tests.
The difference between red and white is like weed, sativa and indica. Indica will make you sleepy, but it's all the same shit in the end; "weed is weed", if you understand me.
