I have read that kratom has mu receptor antagonists as well as agonists and that when taking traditional opioids such as hydrocodone after using kratom that the kratoms antagonists will block some of the effects. I have searched this and a few other sites and unless I am blind, there seem to be no other mention of this. Is this true?

Also, If one were to use 15 mgs oxycodone once daily, then used nothing but 4 grams of kratom once each morning for 5 days, would tolerance have dropped at all like when usually abstaining from them for 5 days, or would the kratom have kept it where it previously stood? Any input from experience would be greatly appreciated.

Your tolerance isn't going to drop if you take kratom. 15mg's of oxy at a time, your tolerance already is as low as it's going to get. My advice would be to not take kratom at all if you want to enjoy the highs you get from oxy. It will stimulate your receptors, although on a much weaker level then oxy. The longer those receptors stay stimulated, the quicker your good highs are going to go away and your going to become dependent. If you really want to enjoy the highs you need to space them a couple weeks apart.

As for the kratom interfering with hydrocodone, I dont think so, if anything it's going to make the high stronger. The only thing kratom is going to do is speed up your road to becoming dependent.
