Right behind you.....
Today, my order of kratom arrived, 6 grams of a dark resin extract, and a few ounces of dried leaf.

I had been waiting for the kratom to arrive for a few days, and so had kept back a little hash to potentiate, and augment any possible nausea, not being sure of dosage, I made a two cups of tea, using half the resin extract, and a teaspoon of dried plant matter in each cup, at first the drink tastes intensely bitter, yet not unpleasant, that taste for it kind of grows upon ones mind with the bitterness soon being neutralised in its entirety by the numbing effect of the mitragynine upon the mucous membranes of the mouth upon which a slightly green astringent taste takes precedence.

I smoked a little weed, one or two pipefulls just as the effects were starting to take effect, this seemed to speed them up somewhat
no nausea prescent at any time.

The effects of the kratom were starting to take effect during the consumption of the first cup, the cups with resin added were a dark muddy color, kind of like the turbid look of cheap vending machine coffee, the leaves were chewed in a quid for about an hour after drinking the tea until fully exhausted.

I began to feel a slight tingling and calm spread through me, at the same time, ever stronger waves of intense euphoria hit me again and again, I noticed quite a strong itch, which strangely enough wasn't unpleasant, although I have zero tolerance, and zero experience with opiates/oids it is everything I imagine them to be, after an hour or so, I felt sort of like in a pleasant sleepy trance, with my eyes half open, just utter numbed out bliss, fucking amazing it felt/feels and I will do it again for sure at some time or other, might try upping dosages, so far i have had the six grams of resin in the tea, and an oz or two of herb made into tea, and half a large sack of herbage remains to be drank, along with a few grams of very good hash.

Heart rate remained at normal throughout, considerable numbness and itching was noticed, pupil dilation aslthough small, was absent to any unusual degree.

Yep, Kratom is an amazing herb. I just ordered some more yesterday. Hopefully, I 'll get to use it here in a couple days. I am starting to go through some withdrawals due to OxyContin and Heroin abuse the past two weeks, and I'm hoping it will help out with the physical withdrawal and the psychological. I want to get away from that crap. It takes away from my normal herbal and psychedelic experimentation.

I wish you the best of luck, kratom is an interesting herb to say the least, I DID have some dizziness and nausea. and noticed some peripheral effects, neurological or circulatory effects, nunbness of extremities, still a pronounced afterglow.

I ascribe this to possibly a slight excess of the herb, with no prior opiate experience (I know kratom is not an opiate, but it is a mu-opiate agonist:\ )

yeah, sounds like my kratom experiences, on par with a decent dose of genuine opiates. Meclizine and weed both kill the nausea superbly; that, plus the cost, are the only major downsides to the plant (for me).

I think kratom is also a great adjunct to psychedelics, taking the edge off without numbing one to the point of making the experience moot.

With the right dose one can experience visionary quest of multiple story lines but it's fast paced and feels more hypnotic than psychedelic.

Careful - it's physically addictive like other opiates. Although it takes a lot longer to develop and rather than producing a sickness during withdrawal, it makes you feel extremely antsy and anxious and uncomfortable. Withdrawal lasts for 4-5 days at most. Kratom is certainly really good, and the withdrawal is not nearly as bad as real opiates, but it certainly is still addictive and can eat up your time and resources.

Is the addiction potential there if it's used week-in-week-out, but only 2 nights a week with a minimum of 2 days between uses?

Can you share the exact process you used to make the tea? I've tried a few times and have yet to get more than a moderate buzz from Kratom... but look forward to more experimentation!
