Start low and increase as needed, don't go full on and take 10g or something stupid, just take a gram or two and see how that feels, even less than that maybe incase you have a negative reaction to it them slowly increase your dosage until you get to your sweet spot. There is no rush to get the perfect dose right away. Take time and take care.

Everyone is different though so I still recommend starting very low and building your dose up slowly.
Took 5g of kratom 15x powder (maeng da variety), felt absolutely nothing.
An hour ago, I made 3g of it in to tea and drank it. I felt nothing at all. So, 20 minutes after that, I mixed the other 2g in to applesauce and ate it. 40 minutes later, I still feel nothing at all.
I'm not opiate tolerant at all, and this is my first time trying kratom. what went wrong?
As many have previously noted b4 me, kratom is widely hit or miss. Your maeng da may be a weak strain from a legit source, or an average strain from a not-so-legit source, or a bogus strain from a bogus source. Finding a good source takes a little time and effort, but once you find one stick with it.
That said, even good sources occasionally will turn out a weaker strain from time to time. Chances are you just got a weak strain. Maeng Da is supposedly one of the stronger extracts, and if you have no opiate tolerance then 5g should have hit you pretty hard.
Next time give UEI a shot. It's even more potent than Maeng Da.
