There is no way. I am very experienced with Opiates/Opioids, and Kratom is a very unique experience.
 
Any idea about how much 1oz of leaves is compared to (extract that is) cause I just got my kratom.

note: I never tripped or did anything like that if that matters ;)

Just finished some heavy drinking lol

I used about 15mg of leaves
I boilded twice (remove the water first time and then added more and boild again) and then boilded again only the "resulting water".

But I think I used too much water, well resumed, endedup having to drink like 0.5l of it...shit that was nasty (even with sugar)

As for effects I can't say I fell much except for a bit "warm" inside and something that can be compared to a mild-weed high i guess...dunno

You mean 15 grams, not milligrams. That sounds like a good dose, but I still recommend the Rifat strain (premium powder).
 
yep my bad....anyway I really underestimated this.

relaxed but was with temperature very high,(no anymore) a way behiond urge to communicate, a wierd high, the music fells different.

Shame I was also a bit sick since I drank so much of that thing should ad boiled more....wayy more I just layed on my bed (due to the sick) and my mind fliyed in the very very soft way bettewn thougths (random ones), way behiond chilling and the most wierd my body was so well I didn't even needed to move myself 1inch during the time I was layed...also slept like a baby for like 30min.

Just got up again and my mind fells very soft and i'm still buzzed also this whole experience is very relaxing and peaceful. I mean like I've read already I must agree it just fells "right" tho it was a bit intense at first (with the sweating thing and bit nausea) just like you said ;)
 
Ok things are a bit now +/- 4 hours after I took it, I fell very nauseous (I drank it in 1liter to 0.5l like I mentioned earlier) and I think i've got a cold due to the sweating... :(
 
Has anybody had any success with the resin extracts that are sold on some sites? I've tried just swallowing the stuff whole but it hardly has any effect, even when taking doses that the websites say are "strong". I'm guessing that dissolving the resin in water first would make a difference, but I just can't stand the taste of kratom tea.
 
Try adding ginger and honey..

I make my tea with ginger honey and lime and it tastes AMAZING... I love the bitterish tatse...

And I have had experince with the resin and made it into tea (same recipe) and it was also fantasic.... Ive never tried eating it or any other method besides the tea.....
 
Ok ended up puking like a crazy and even now still fell a bit nauseaus, I hope it was because I used too much water and drank all of it really fast (plus it was boiled).

This semi-hangover is far from nice... :/
 
I jus got my 14g premium powder kratom stuff.

Tried smoking it but the high lasted for like 10 mins...

Its true the taste is horrible. The first time I boiled a pot of water and put the powder in and strain it and add lots of sugar but I still nearly puked lol.
Not sure if its correctly done but the last few times I tried I made a very strong chocolate hot drink and jus stirred the powder into it and gulped it down quickly.

I found out that the narcotic high normally is the strongest for me after abt 2 hrs. The high ... feels nasueating to be exact. The feeling is like taking a 10 hr bus trip and u feel sort of really nauseated and heavy...Eyelips are heavy and I do get very vivid dream after i fall asleep.

All in all, I am not that sastified. I have tried cannabis b4 and nothing can beat that. But have quitted cannabis due to the harsh law...sigh. SADNESS. Nothing beats cannabis....

I think you have to have an appreciation for the opiate-type buzz to like kratom. I get some nausea from opiates even at low doses, and the same from kratom. It just comes with the territory, but after a while I got used to it, I guess.

In my limited experiments it seems to hit better and smoother if sipped slowly like regular tea instead of gulped. I'm able to do this if I add enough honey, lemon and ginger to it.

Randomly: Has anyone else seen the movie Zoolander? I swear there is a veiled reference to drinking kratom tea in it. Luke Wilson goes "Hey man, can you bring us some of that special tea we had when we were climbing the Malaysian ruins in Angkor Wat?", and they drink it, and the girl gets all goofy and then they have goofy group sex.

I too know nothing about this plant either, has anyone ever tried to smoke it though?
 
I tried smoking the resin before, but I was only able to get to the uncomfortable stimulating phase. I was not able to smoke enough to get past that...to the narcotic phase.

Same here! Whenever I smoke the resin, I get the stimulant effects - and they are much more noticable. Does anyone else think the smoke tastes like sweet potatoes or something?
 
Piper methysticum, I noticed on a website a brand of soma called 'Piper methysticum'.

Just out of interest was the soma named after you or are you named after the soma.
