Sounds all wrong man, they were probably duff, you want to be getting specific named strains from reputable kratom stockists.

What's your tolerance like?

Commercial kratom capsules (extracts, etc, "head shop" things) are often not as potent as they should be. You probably want to find some powdered leaf, that's what people have best results with.

We don't discuss sources on Bluelight though. Use your head, and Google, for that.
