Kratom Cross Breeding?

Is it possible to cross breed Kratom? If so, how would I do it? Is it the same as weed? If the answer is no, why not?
 
Afaik my guess would be yes, purely based on the fact that rather than a few separate subspecies of Kratom there is an insane continuum of possible types, and possible alkaloid content profiles. It is even so bad that quality / content can hardly be guaranteed to be consistent within the same 'type', location and batch. But then again I doubt that these guys are making monocultures ;)

Haha yeah. By any chance do you know how I would go about doing that?
