my dad has a hurt shoulder, dude's in agony and i don't like seeing him like that. he has a script for hydrocodone but it's not enough. i'm considering getting him some kratom to help.

my question is, will kratom make his script stronger or weaker for pure painkilling effectiveness? i've heard kratom has some antagonist effects on the opioid receptors as well.

I've seen some say that they are able to make there script last longer when used together. I've used the two together a handful of times although mine was more for recreation. Beware that regular kratom use will increase your tolerance to opiods.

Don't worry about the antagonist alkaloid, it's present in such tiny amounts it's trivial. You don't have to worry about precipitated withdrawals or anything like that. Go ahead and pick some up, worse comes worse he can have something in case he ever needs to use more than his prescribed dose. Make sure you order it from a rebutable online vendor, headshop/gas station kratom is almost always expensive and mediocre quality.
