Long time lurker, this is my first post on bluelight, be nice :D
Got some powdered kratom off a website (says it's naturally harvested and grown) and decided I'd write a "feels" log written down while I was on it. I also have no tolerance for opiates, weight = 155lbs.
I did the 'toss and wash' method using OJ, had nothing to eat for about 6 hours prior.
6:30pm: 4 grams of red vein Bali. I can feel my stomach kind of disagreeing with it, if i burp it smells like green tea
7:00pm: nothing is happening.
7:30pm: took 6 grams of red vein Bali.
7:50pm: another 5 grams of red vein Bali. My stomach is grumbling, I'm hungry... I wish this would kick in already
8:05pm: finally something! My head feels slightly heavy, could be placebo though... my mood feels slightly better but I guess this could be placebo as well.
8:15pm: Body feels warmer, my cheeks are a little flushed. Felt like I had tingles in my hands but it went away, placebo again?
8:25pm: Took 4 grams of super green Malaysian. You know, I don't mind the bitter taste of this stuff, I drink green tea almost every day and I like it bitter. I guess I'm used to it... seen a lot of people on BL complain about the bitterness. Decided that this is my cut-off point, if nothing else happens I'm just calling it a night. I'm hungry though so I ate a pizza pop.
8:45pm: IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!! It must have been the malaysian green! My body is warm... I tried drumming my fingers on my desk to the music (I have headphones on) and I had to stop after 5 seconds, it honestly felt like a LOT of effort. Walking around feels slightly "off"
8:55pm: Ugh.... I gotta sit or lie down, walking is kinda making me nauseous. What a terrible side effect.
9:10pm: I'm lying down in bed now with the lights off, soft music still playing through my headphones. It kind of feels good just laying here on my back not doing anything. It taking a lot of effort for me to hold up the phone and type this in.
10:25pm: Drifted in and out of sleep, a little bit of euphoria I guess but nothing like M. I'm not really into doing anything for hours upon hours, can't even hold my phone up for more than a minute or so. I still feel it though, I'm going back to sleep.
10:55pm: My face feels a bit numb and I woke up cause it got itchy. Also hard to fart for some reason. Back to sleep...
1:10am: This stuff is still in effect. Things still feel a little off but not as profound as around 9pm. Still hard to fart but occasionally 1 gets out (lol). Maybe I'll take this stuff when I get sick, it knocks you out for 2 hours at a time and it's easy to fall asleep again. Plus you don't want to get up unless you want nausea... pretty good way to keep you in bed.
Haven't eaten anything aside from a pizza pop in about 12 hours, I'm hungry... I could really go for some pho noodles in the morning, saliva's forming in my mouth thinking about it.
My face and hair is still itchy, I took a shower earlier and my sheets are clean so it's not that. Still have my headphones in, I've got a really soft song on repeat. Sleep time...
10:15am: Wow I slept basically for 13 hours, only "woke up" to write the above logs and scratch myself / readjust my sleeping position.
My face/hair isn't itchy anymore but my back hurts cause I've been in bed for so long.
I have a little bucket next to my bed just in case I felt like throwing up, it hasn't happened though. For some reason I don't feel like getting up even though I'm HUNGRY... it's probably the 'hangover' feeling... I've got a mild headache + dizziness, I'm going to grab some Gatorade from the kitchen. Oh and I can type this in at my normal pace too. Last night I typed this in slowwwwwwwly
11am: I'm still in bed, propped up on my elbow, playing on my phone. I think it's time to get on with my day. I'm not sure if I'll use this stuff again for a while.
At a low dose it's supposed to have stimulatory properties but they're not that great, I'd rather buy a mcdonalds mocha (tastes better too). At higher doses like last night... well... you're totally out of it. I don't know about this stuff.
2:20pm: Got some pho noodles for lunch with a friend (he drove, I felt pretty lousy), but I didn't have much of an appetite for someone who hasn't eaten for a long time
I'm still kind of 'out of it' - I don't feel like doing much, maybe playing video games or watching tv, anything that doesn't require much thinking or movement. I think I'm just going to have to write this day off.
Maybe next time I'll try this stuff with ginger beer + munch on ginger root, it's supposed to help with the nauseous feeling. I actually like the taste of both those things so that's a bonus. I'll take less for sure too, maybe just the super green Malaysian and see what happens.
