i had a long break from benzos but have been taking vals & temaz the last week.

yestuday i had 50mg. barely felt a thing.
day before i think i had 40mg diaz & 40mg temaze.. but hardly felt anything.

im taking an anitpychotic at night which actually is quite sedating. im not sure if that effects how strong benzos are.

anyways i dont understand why i dont get effected very much

do drs precribe clonazepam here commonly in aus??
What benzos are the most commonly prescribed?
like do they give out lorazepam or anything besdes just ya xanax vals & temaz?
im scripted 15mg diaz a day.
but a 2mg clonaz would be = 40mg diaz so than i can only take 1 tab instead of 8

I dont wanna fuck things up by letting the dr i know so much about drugs cuz of BL. maybe i should be greatful im getting what im getting

I wanty a long acting benzos. xanax is playing with fire imo & it has a high followed by an abruct low. although i did enjoy them. but im sort of looking for something half recreational but also for axctually anxiety.

i dont want lecture about benzos. i used to take heaps last yr. even xanax. & i honestly barely get any rebound anxiety at all if any. imo its a subtle high with a subtle w/d but everyones different. i guess im lucky

I took 4mg xanax one time & almost ran a half marathon once. when im cam I tend to have more energy..

its funny though cuz antipychotics even at low doses make me real tired. i cant beleive some drs precribe 5 mg diaz for insomnia. is is possible that i just dont asorbe them well? i take alot of codeine maybe i cant abosrb drugs well anymore. subligually maybe the answer. but than i wouldnt be able to drink GFJ with it. not that i do anyway. it tastes like shit & its probably placebo the inhanced effect.

no that is a rubbish myth, its just called tolerance. If one knows the effect, expects it and has taken it for long periods in the past it is likely you will never return to baseline tolerance of a never dosed before person.

From looking at clonazepam a couple of years ago I got the impression it was mostly just prescribed for seizure prevention in epilepsy for eg rather than anxiety, diazepam would be far more likely for almost anyone for anxiety from a doc. It seems America has a big thing about Clonazepam and Alprazolam which I don't quite get. In Aus good old valium gets used more frequently it seems. Anyway clonazepam is pretty similar to diazepam. I got hold of some here but it isn't anything special nor are any benzos imo. If I had a choice I would get Temazepam anyway, but all in all yeh don't search for a benzo thinking its going to be all new and a holy grail.

Clonazepam is usually only prescribed for epilepsy, and is sometimes used for detox as well. I'm currently on 1mg of clonazepam four times a day to taper off high dose alprazolam.

The first question is almost impossible to answer. The answer to the second question, according to here, temazepam, diazepam, alprazolam and oxazepam.

I don't see any further usefulness in this thread. If you feel your doses aren't working you should talk to your doctor. Or try some grapefruit juice.

I've taken Alprazolam and Clonazepam, I have been diagnosed with insomnia and anxiety, they just haven't prescribed me anything yet and I've been afraid to ask, so I suppose I've been self-medicating to some degree, but also I use the stuff recreationally. I've found both to be very effective for anxiety but Clon would be my anxiety drug of choice due to the longer lasting effect and it has more of a mood-lifting effect and apparently the withdrawls are nowhere near as severe as xanax, but I've only ever heard of it being prescribed for epilepsy which is disapointing, what from I've read and what I've experienced Clonazepam seems like a much better drug.
