Benzos kpin fury

Prescribed by the same doctor.
Hope this was the answer you were looking for ;)

Think you have the doc I was looking for. (Sorry for the out of the blue quote, but a greenlighter like me is not allowed to send PMs in reply.)

Sorry it's off topic, but you're really prescribed dexedrine and the kpins by the same doc?

amp and a benzo is a pretty common script. i think everyone i know that is scripted amp for adhd is also scripted a benzo. mostly i see it scripted with alprazolam.

back to the topic. i totally stay away from lorazepam these days because that benzo for some reason makes me lose all self control and do and say things way out of character for me. it's weird cause no other benzo does that to me.

i also find clonazepam to be one of the more lighter feeling benzo's and therefore my favorite.

i guess try and stay away from clonazepam when your angry or try and switch to a lower dose of one of the other benzo's you've tried.

Right right I forgot about that.
Same shit happened to me.

I had a nice laugh from your response! :)
If you have any in depth questions don't be afraid to ask, I don't mind answering either here or on AIM or whatever.

Even more common is the SSRI. I was offered Zoloft which I took because I didn't know any better, and never ate any since I'm good without withdrawals and I don't really feel too good about having to take a drug everyday.
Oh its always the messed up brain, you don't have enough serotonin, its never the shitty job or the crappy/nonexistent boy/girlfriend you have.

Drugs chemically give you the life you want, but in your mind you honestly know that there is something wrong. Haha I think I derailed my question about benzos making me angry into an anti SSRI rant.

You are all lucky people. I can only get either ritalin or a benzo alone. If the OP still grants me yet another off topic question, dexedrine works better than ritalin for some purpose?

For most people for most purposes.
I will tell you that I prefer Adderall to Dexedrine.

But Dexedrine makes your life just so fun that you do it fantastically, and you always could have, but you just didn't have the passion for it. You put in all the 130% effort that you want to. You tie your shoes perfectly. You open the door perfectly. You typed the perfect paper. You do things better because you can.

Ritalin they say is better for concentration. I tried it but I didn't like it. The comedown was shit, the mood lift was negligible and short lasting.

Think doing everything perfectly and having 130% fun is way to go. I just don't know how you manage to have kpin angry on top of that.

I don't really like benzos either. They seem to detract from reality if that makes sense. Adderall makes me wanna do things, and benzos make me not care. They're awesome for the comedown if they bother you that much (I don't mind them, except in social situations you can't act like a total fucking idiot during your comedown, haha I feel awful cause I think I messed up with this girl since I always saw her on my comedowns, and didnt have benzos until much later) as well as sleep, but other than that I don't like them. If I had a choice between either I would go for the amps.

Haha sorry I'm kinda high so I'll try my best to answer that. I haven't been taking my amps for a bit because I always felt like they should be a gift to the future to me. I used to take one and do the semester's homework. Make a real impact, ya know? Those days are long gone. I started taking them everyday, and before I knew it, I justified it to myself. Time was going fast because they just made the time fly by.

Kpins were for the comedown. I took them for sleep. My mom just happened to have her boyfriend call in the middle of the fucking night and I wouldn't have cared if he didn't lie and just say he would call anyways. Nope he pussied out, said he wouldn't call and thought I wouldn't notice. My mom even went along with it, first saying nope he didn't, when I said he clearly woke me up, she was at 10:00PM etc I'm rambling aren't I? :p

the same thing happens to me every single time I take more than 3mgs of xanax. I get the mellowed out drunk type of feeling but say im out in public and a guy walks past me on the street and looks at me the slightest bit wrong I automatically go into predator mode ready to just beat the shit out of a total stranger for giving me "a look".

I notice this with a lot of my benzo abusing friends, especially females. IDK what it is but benzos especially xanax turn females into huge fucking BITCHES, like seriously damn crying screaming obnoxious. Not all of them of course but it really seems like the percentage of women who react this way is way higher, I have 1 male friend who when something happens even something really minor he gets all bitchy too. I really hate how benzos make people act , it fucking sucks to hang out with benzo fiends.

i highly suggest you guys check out lyrica. its way better than benzos for comedowns, anxiety, and its not anywhere as addictive. its much less muddying on your thoughts too. actually makes you more cognizant. seriously, benzos have been my DOC since i was 14 since i have substantial anxiety issues. lyrica is WAAAY better, especially for an addict that cant help but abuse benzos.

i've totally experienced benzo rage before, and only kpins brought it on. it always happened when i combined them with a substantial amount of alcohol though. but yeah, a few times i blacked out doing this and ended up doing stupid stuff like trying to fight my friends, etc., and had no recollection at all. worst feeling the next day

I bet that had more to do with the alcohol than the benzos. In fact, I really dont understand all these people posting about how benzos cause them to go into fits of rage. I mean, thats one of the symptoms benzos are prescribed to PREVENT...not induce. Ive never experienced anyhitng other than calming, sedating effects from benzos(and of course memory loss on occasion).

But sicne so many people admit to having these odd occurences with there benzos, I guess thats enough to prove to me that this actually does happen. I just dont get it, anyone have any clue as to why this would happen? I mean, i can understand someone who is withdrawing from benzos going crazy mad, but not someone actually under the influence of them.

I hope someone has some answers.

*FYI im prescribed clonazepam and take it in varying doses throughout the week (between 1-6mg's at a time)....and have never noticed anything but calmness....actually I usually dont feel anything noticeable at all under 3mg's.

an idea i had was that in certain people benzos may lower their inhibitions to the point that emotions and feelings they would otherwise keep inside/repress come to the surface- which could include repressed anger or rage.

going back to my other post, i'm pretty sure it's the combo of clonazepam and alcohol, large quantities of both. i have experienced this a few times, and it only happened w/ that combination. i have lots of experience w/ both alcohol and benzos. the rage thing only occurred ever w/ that combination. this happened like 5 years ago a few times w/ that combination; i have avoided it since, it has not happened again.

So im guessing you people are talking about only HIGH doses of benzos(or benzos mixed w/ alcohol) that cause this effect??

That makes alot more sense.....if you take a shitload of clonazepam it loweres your brains natural instinct of self-control. And if even mild doses of benzos were mixed with alcohol, there could be numerous negative results.

This all is starting to make sense to me. Earlier I thought you guys were talking about reasonable doses of benzos.....not large doses.

the high doses of alcohol mixed with benzos is what brought on those symptoms in me.

i have, however, heard of benzos causing aggressive behavior in people w/out alcohol, and at what would be considered therapeutic doses. but essentialy, i think you're right; my theory is that in either case (mine w/ large quantities of benzos + alcohol or someone else who just has this unique reaction to benzos) that it probably has something to do w/ lowering of inhibitions and self-control. since not everyone has a high tolerance to these things and some people are very sensitive to them, it could present in relatively low doses
