klonopin + xanax

so i've searched a little but only found threads comparing the two and not about doing them together

too keep it short, what should one expect if one was to take 0.5mg klonopin and after 1 hour, take 0.5mg xanax? (with zero benzo tolerance)

One should expect to feel fairly relaxed and perhaps get a little bit sleepy after taking the alprazolam (xanax). The clonazepam (klonopin) has a much longer half life and you may be feeling residual affects for the next day so be careful if you plan to consume any alcohol as the clonazepam will be in your system for a while.

I think you will probably enjoy yourself if you enjoy downers, they are two of my all time favourite substances but be careful and don't make a habit of it as Benzo's are not something you want to be dependent on.

it's been over 2 hours, i took both of them, and i must say i felt kinda disappointed: i felt only slightly relaxed and not sleepy at all to be honest, and after further reading it seems that most people find benzos to be not euphoric and of no recreational use at all ... and may be that's it for me

also i think i didn't perceive the effects so well because i basically just stayed at home and did nothing ... i'll just save them for situations that make me anxious then and i think i may feel something, that's what they're supposed to do after all right ... relieve anxiety

Benzos, especially ones like clonazepam are a disappointment to a lot of people because of there subtlety and long half life. Xanax, on the other hand, hits you a lot quicker. Next time, if you're definitely going to take them no matter what, just take a little more of the Xanax and you should feel better. Klonopin can also be dangerous in the aspect of taking too much because you don't feel anything, then boom, it will all hit you at once. Another thing I've noticed about klonopin is that the person taking it usually doesn't realize how "relaxed" they truly are until others around them notice. And still after that, they can be in denial about how high they are. I take klonopin and deal with these issues a lot.

Klonopin and xanax.. works fine.
Klonopin for the long term anxiety and xanax if breakthrough anxiety/panic or just for fun!

Benzos are absolutely no fun for me, or many people. There is no euphoria, it just makes you extremely sedated and lethargic. As a matter of fact, I would go as far as to call benzos dysphoric. I absolutely hate them. Be careful playing with them, I was physically dependent to clonazepam after only 2-3 weeks of .5mgs daily...and when I tried to stop I was thrown into a bad acid like trip state...completely derealization and depersonalization.... it sucked balls and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy; BE CAREFUL.

OP is mixing two benzodiazepines at dosage of ~20-30mg diazepam and ppl are talking about withdrawals.
No worries, just dont eat them everyday and dont increase the dosage if you DO eat them everyday !

I don't think you get any additional positive effects from combining the 2. The only reason I would combine them is not having enough of either 1 to do the trick.
