How long does it take for Klonopin Withdrawal to start?

I take 0.75 once a week/4-5 times a month maximum.

I want to stop totally and want to get rid of the pills. But I am afraid withdrawal might kick in and I will need my pills.

No withdrawl at all if you take less than 1mg 4 or 5 times a month. That's like once a week. You don't have a physical addiction at all!

It's still possible though that if an underlying anxiety issue was causing you to want to use the Klonopin to start. It wouldn't be physical withdrawal, but a mental one.

You won't get sick, but your anxiety might worsen for a time to some small extent.

Just stay strong, you're making the right choice, benzos are not a good thing to get hooked on.

The best of luck to you, and be sure to let us know how things go.

It isn't likely that you have a physical dependency upon clonazepam.

If you are mentally not ready to face the world without a benzo, you can seek help from a friend/family member/therapist to figure out what the underlying cause is (if you are not aware of it quite yet).

There are also other drugs with anxiolytic properties which are less addictive than benzodiazepines. Antihistamines (like diphenhydramine or doxylamine for example) could help you out with transitioning to life without benzos.

I don't think he wil have a problem facing the world withought benzo's because apparently he does 90% of the time with no problem. He only takes less than 1 mg every 7 days. This is equivelant to squat...nil...nadda.....zilch.
