I am going to go through Klonopin withdrawal in a few days. I have a 100 or so primidone 250mg pills and was wondering if those would help at all for the withdrawal process.

Id imagine they may help somewhat as they act as an Anticonvulsant and are known to cause sedation.

From what ive read Carbamazapine may be a better option but im no expert.

Best of luck. ;)

I actually took a barbiturate called phenobarbital. It's used to control seizures, and it worked great for me.

Yeah, I've taken Primidone before and one time I took 15 or so 250mg tablets in one day, with just a weird feeling basically. But they suck at getting you high and I'm not looking for that. Just looking to ease or hopefully rid myself of benzo withdrawal symptoms.

I managed to get 5 Xanax Bars, I split them into 1/4ths so I take 0.5mgs of Xanax daily with 4-6mgs of Suboxone daily now. But that 0.5mg of Xanax keeps the benzo withdrawal away completely. So I was wondering, if that low of dose keeps me fine, you think the withdrawal would be that bad?

On 0.5mg/daily? For only 18 more days? On that low of a dose, it seems like it wouldn't be so bad. And it would be quicker than a Klonopin withdrawal.

I don't think Xanax should be used to help with a klonopin withdrawal.
It's like saying " I'm going use whiskey to help me get through my beer withdrawal".

I am also going through the Klonopin withdrawal and was looking for a medication to go with the taper because I cant take it,, Carbamazapine comes up , is it the best or better medication...

Do any of you people going through Klonopin withdrawal, mind listing the amount of Klonopin you take and for how long you've been on that dose?
You are not helping by leaving half of the important information out.
