For past 3 months I took Klonopin 0.5mg as needed..... Total I took 6 pills of 2mg, so 12mg total for last 3 months (as needed, 0.5mg).

Should I worry about withdrawal effects ? I don't wanna take it anymore, it makes me tired and drowsy....

You may feel some slight withdrawal effects (tinnitus, slight vertigo, and a bit of anxiety) If this were any of the shorter acting benzo's (i.e Ativan, Xanax) you wouldn't feel any discontinuation effects. However, due to Klonopin's long half-life, you may feel a bit of withdrawals.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Any effects you do feel will be minor in comparison to someone like myself (who takes 2 milligrams of Klonopin DAILY). I shudder at the thought of what my WD's are going to be like...

Thanks for input.....

Well, can you tapper gradually when the time comes?

I don't know why I got into this sh*t again.... I was fine from 2010-2104, where I didn't have any of these pills..... Then begining of this year I managed to get some Klonopin from a friend.... Now I regret everything, and thinking about dumping all of it to trash.

People, I took Klonopin several more times, on "as needed" basis..... So you can say now that over the period of 4 months I was taking 0.5mg on as needed basis..... I never took it 2 days in a row...

My question now is: do I need to taper somehow? I say somehow because it's not clear to me what plan of action I should make for that, because I was taking Klonopin on as needed basis....
