So this question must have been asked before but I couldn't find it nor a web source.
Suppose I have been using klonopin at about 4mgs/day for 15 days (prior to this was a fifteen day or so clean period).
At the moment I am definatly having generalized sourcless anxiety, hands trembling a little (this is three days after last dosing). How long will these symptoms last? Any ideas?
Also anyone know any tricks to help make it less bothersome (besides drinking all the time or getting more benzos). I doubt there would be any but maybe.

Your just gonna have to deal with it. All I can suggest is drink some Chinese green tea. And don't go to your local supermarket & buy that cheap so called chinese green tea. That shit is probably made in Ohio. Go to china town, there's one in every city, & buy it from a herbal shop. Shit works miracle's...

According to the Psychotropic Drug Guidelines, dependence is rare in people taking a therapeutic dose (4mg fits in this range) for 1 - 2 weeks. Having said that, if you didn't have pre-existing anxiety, then it is possibly a symptom of a mild withdrawl. There's some info on withdrawl here, they are a benzo addiction recovery group so they aren't exactly keen on benzo's.

I've been using klonopin almost daily, for...hmm..around 5-6 months maybe? I stick to around 4mg/day, although sometimes 2mg, sometimes up to 6mg. Sometimes none at all. I haven't gone long enough without any to notice any withdrawl yet (well i did go to florida for a week, which i barely used any at all, maybe only 2 or 3 2mg pills during the whole week, didnt notice any extra anxiety) , but i think i'm going to slowly ween down, since my main CHEAP overseas suppliers are all not operating, although i made sure to have a years worth of "stash", so i wouldn't have to quit cold turkey. Try cutting down the dose little by little, that is if you have enough left to do that with.. I think there are some posts about this in Medical Q&A.
I take them for anxiety, which with the US doctors, its so much of a pain to get them, and its still cheaper buying 400-500 2mg pills overseas (well, my main cheapo suppliers are gone now) for about $90 including shipping. Cheaper than wasting time going many doctors, with most of them telling you "here's some paxil, here try some of these other anti depressants", If i had 100% coverage insurance, maybe i would try and waste the time, but it would probably be a LOT of time i dont have. Most of the doctor's i've talked to, have some ego-thing going on, where they cant seem to believe I read up and understand what these meds do, and i'm aware of the withdrawl/side effects/etc.
After using klonopin for so long, i've built up a tolerance for sure, but it seems to have reached a plateau, a long time ago. When I first tried it, it seemed to mess up my coordination, i would almost bump into walls at just 2mg. Now it just kills my anxiety, but no longer makes me sleepy, no longer fucks with my coordination, so i've probably just "adjusted" to the altered state, like someone who drives while high on pot very often, gets used to the changed state, and can drive fine.
Anyway, if you've only used it for 15 days (unless i mis-read the post, maybe you used it longer before then?), that doesn't seem long, compared to the 5-6 months i've been using it. If you have extra benzo's, i suggest you slowly (depending on how much you have) taper down. Come up with a schedule for reducing your dosage every x days (search medical q&a, or elsewhere), and stick to it, if you need to go real slow and you have enough klonopin, then why not do so? If your having real difficulty with cold turkey..i'd taper off, as fast or slowly as you need.
Also i notice, now that i have a script for Adderal (also BZP works for me), Adderal seems to kill anxiety, and "calm me down" in a way, without taking any klonopin.
Sorry if i'm ranting, i'm on Adderal right now, i've got some cleaning up to do/car shit to work on, but i somehow end up on bluelight first :)
Good luck quale.
