Klonopin to lorazepam

I have taken .5mg ×3 daily (am, afternoon, night) of klonopin for years. Going to run out early this month. I am starting today to just take .5mg klonopin twice a day so cutting out a .5mg for the next 3 days. That will leave me without klonopin on the 9th and 10th till I get a refill on the 11th. I have some 1mg lorazepam could I take those on the days I am out and how many should I take?

I suck at the conversions and am lazy on the search.. I used to take 2mg klonpin a day at the least and even 1mg helped ease alot, I would just start low bro maybe half yeah?

Clonazepam is approximately twice as potent as lorazepam by weight, so 1mg clonazepam is equivalent to around 2mg lorazepam.

Lorazepam has a shorter duration then clonazepam so you will find you'll need to take it more frequently.

Start with 1mg lorazepam and take another 1mg when the effects begin to wane.
