Klonopin Potency?

They do have a cross tolerance. I can tell you that clonazepam and alprazolam are both the same potency. With Clonazepam having a 36 hour half life and alprazolam having a 12 hour half life. Alprazolam being shorter acting hit's most people harder, including me. But your talking about euphoria. If it makes you feel better then alprazolam then maybe it works better for you.

Actually I believe that clonazepam (Klonopin) is stronger than alprazolam (Xanax) at comparable doses.
1mg of Xanax is equivalent to .5mg of Klonopin if I am not mistaken.
Also different benzos affect each person differently. It's quite possible that klonopin simply makes you feel more euphoric. So not only is Klonopin technically stronger mg for mg but you may also be affected by it more than Xanax, even though you usually take 2mg Xanax bars.
I used to be big into benzos because of my anxiety, taking them recreationally and prescribed them from time to time. I can honestly say that out of all the bars I used to eat up, I really liked Klonopin much more. I was prescribed kpins for about 6 months and I got a buzz usually at much lower doses, it always made me more drowsy helping my insomnia, and definitely gave better euphoria. It is so much longer acting as well. If I took a good amount at night I would always still feel very relaxed in the morning and helped keep away my anxiety into the day.
So its definitely normal Klonopin is awesome. Have you tried much Valium? It's usually considered weaker but I really responded very well to valium.

Well you are mistaken. There the same potency with different half life's and effects. Different strokes for different folks.

Xanax and Klonopin are indeed about the same potency, although k-pins last a lot longer. But for fuck sake if .5 is working don't up it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

only got euforia from clonazepam likr 3mg but only when i mixed it with booze or ganja..so not good
alprazolam 3mg made me quite drowsy and less inhibted sorta a drunky feeling but never euphoric what i hate about it is that n the next day im extremely pissed even at low doses

I prefer Klonopin to Alprazolam because it lasts longer and has better muscle relaxant qualities. It has better anxiolytic properties in my opinion.
They are equivalent in potency:
0.5mg alprazolam = 0.5mg clonazepam

I have read charts saying they were equivalent mg to mg, and charts saying clonazepam is two times as potent as alprazolam. I have had my share of experience with both, and still find it hard to compare them mg to mg. They are different. Alprazolam comes on fast, and is a good anxiolytic and anti-panic, its effects last for a shorter time than a lot of the benzos. Clonazepam doesn't come on so fast, is still a good anxiolytic and anti-panic, but has stronger muscle relaxant properties, its effects last for a while compared to a lot of the other benzos. Clonazepam seems to me to be more subtle, but more relaxing (generally), it seems to have a somewhat subtler, yet thicker effect. Alprazolam seems to do the job it should, and kicks in nice and fast, but doesn't cause as much sedation for me as clonazepam. Clonazepam is a good benzo, as is alprazolam, but they are somewhat different.
