Ive heard Benzodiazepines lower Cortisol levels in the body after workouts. Although I've also heard this only occurs with high doses of Benzos.

Does anybody know the appropriate dosage to get this effect?

DS, you talk about using drugs other than steroids in worksouts, right? if not, feel free to send it back.

BDD ---> SD

Taking high doses of benzodiazepines and then working out is a recipe for trouble. taking high doses of benzodiazepines in general is bad.

Remember, cortisol is a stress horomone. Benzos are anti-anxiety drgs that decrease stress... put two and two together.

I don't know about that particular dose, but I'd imagine it is not an exact amount but rather an exponential increase relative to dose, possibly topping out at some point. Benzos have a wide array of effects on the body that concern your work out though (pre and post)... Muscle tone is definitely decreased, growth hormones are impacted (actually increase from many benzos), stress management is altered, etc. I've tried using benzos while working out and found them to have a detrimental impact on development, so I personally believe that avoiding them is better for your routine.

What about taking an Opiate after a workout instead of a benzo..?? I was wonder if that was ok to do.? Especially for people having pain issues, but still want to work out a few times a week..??
