Klonopin + Percocet, is it worth it?

My friend has been prescribed to 1 mg Klonopin daily for almost 4 years, and has a very high tolerance for these, and other benzos in general.

He recently came across some 10 mg Percs (he has a somewhat decent tolerance for opiates) and was wondering if it would be safe to combine these in fairly low doses? (1-2 mg Klonopin, 10-20 mg Percocet)

Also, what type of buzz should my friend expect? He has taken each of these seperately on different occasions, but never mixed them because of the obvious dangers that benzo-opiate combinations can yield. Would it even be worth it?

I would have your friend take no more than his prescribed dosage of kpin (1mg), along with no more than 15mg of oxycodone. Opioids and benzos really slow down your breathing when mixed, through CNS depression, which could be dangerous.

I would expect your friend to feel more sedated, chilled, and mellow than taking oxy alone, but opiate euphoria is dulled down with benzodiazepines, even low doses of them (0.25-0.5mg kpin), let alone a full mg of it. GABA acts as a kind of global inhibitor of dopamine release, by slowing the brain down as a whole, as GABA is our brain's inhibitory mechanism.

I would recommend him to take the 20mg of oxycodone alone, then take his normal dosage of kpin about 3 hours in to the high, that way, by the time the oxy is out of his system, the kpin begins to kick in.
