Its weird, ive been taking klonopins and xanax for awhile and yesterday i decided i was going to take a klonopin 0.50mg pink 33's under my tongue after i got high and when i did 10 min later my left hand was numb and my legs were numb and uncomfortable, i was jittery and couldnt focus for an hour my heart was beating weird, all from 1 .50mg klonopin. It was a bad experience. Anyone know why this happened? Xanax under my tongue works fast and great.

You're maybe allergic to clonazepam or had an adverse reaction. It happens to some people.

Yeah, this sounds like an allergic reaction almost. I remember taking Klonopin for the first time, but it was a dose larger than .5 mg, and the only uncomfortable effect that I experienced and that concerned me was loss of coordination. (I tripped walking up the stairs to my house.)

^I dont believe klonopin is more potent then xanax. There pretty much the same potency, and in terms of effects. The only difference i've noticed is klonopin makes your eyes very diolated and takes about a hour to kick in, and absolutely wrecks your memory more then xanax even. Where as xanax kicks in alot faster. They both make you sleep very well.

I dont think it's accurate to say one is stronger then the other, there different drugs with different effects and half lives.

I would agree though that klonopin might have more side effects. But in the end they both have shitty side effects.
Care to elaborate?

Clonazepam (Klonopin) is a powerful neurological drug.

Absorbing it in the mouth ? That would cause a rapid onset of action.

Almost regardless of tolerance, doing that can have all sorts of neurological effects.

Xanax is a different drug. Klonopin is probably more potent regarding neurological side effects (and effects).

Best not to do it again :)

What in the world are you talking about. Xanax is "just" about the same drug as Klonopin. They are both powerful benzodiazepines. Very similar...very similar. And I think the reason he absorbed it in the mouth was specifically to get a more rapid onset. And no, if he had a tolerance that wouldn't work, doesn't matter on the ROA, tolerance has everything to do with it.

^I agree with you, however he might of been partially right. I think klonopin side effects can become quite paradoxial, compared to xanax. Although they both have a similar effects profile. Klonopin tends to be paradoxial in alot more people. And other side effects seem more common with klonopin.

I believe the only other benzo with as many shitty side effects profile is triazolam.

My 00.2

^Shit I know somone who was crazy from those klons to haha. They need to make another potent benzo with a similar half life.
