I just read about 400 posts on klonopin and couldn't find the answer.
How long do the effects of Klonopin last....?
I just took 2mgs to go to sleep and would like to do some G when I get up...but I don't wanna die :o
I think I remember PhreeX saying 12-13 hours...I dunno....just trying to be safe.

According to the Psychotropic Drug Guidelines, half-life of clonazepam = 35 hours. This doesn't mean it will still impair your conciousness for 35 hours - that's an individual thing. If you really want to take some G, perhaps do it with someone else around, in case you get into difficulty. Or wait for another day, particularly if you can still feel the effects of the clonazepam.

I've done K-pins the evening before G without any trouble lots of times.
And doing benzos 5+ hours after doing G is also risk-free.

That's the problem.....I have the whole Rebound thing going on hardcore and the 2mgs of klonopin feels like it has already run it's course. In only 6 hours....is that possible?
I should either take another one or do a cap or something.....

The half-life of a drug has NOTHING to do with it's effects it would seem...
How long does clonazepam last? Well, from the time the effects set in you're looking at a good 4-12 hours of sedation, by that 12 hour point yer really totally sober or your asleep...
Sleep it off then slam some GHB, you're not goingto die (though it seems countor-productive as the GHB will just knock you out again) ..

In some cases they do. I asked what essentially amounts to a pharmacology professor about this issue in relation to benzos. The somewhat confused answer I eventually extracted is that it probably had something to do with them being so lipophilic. Remember the half life is measured by blood concentration not by concentration in the brain.
Other drugs may not obey half lives for differnt reasons (sudden tolerance). However given that you can take the same amount of valium a day for a week and still get effects this doesn't seem to be a reasonable answer.

Depending on tolerance and dosage I would say 10 - 14 hours, I dont think I have a tolerance but when I take 4 mgs @ 8 a.m. I am sluring my words into the night. I would just make sure I had someone to confirm that I was sober I dont really notice how much I am sluring(That's how I guage my sobeness). I dont know how GHB interacts with it so I guess I should shut up now.

You'll be fine. Just heed Phreex's advice, it's dead on. They don't do shit for me personally, but, once they kick in sleep it off then enjoy your GHB...
