Klonopin (clonazepam)

A friend who is taking this for anxiety let me take 3 white pills from him (1 mg. each). I have limited prior experience with benzos (a few times with valium and xanax) and am unsure w/r to recreational dosage. I did some research and read that prescribed dosage can range from 0.5 mg. to 20 mg. Given that I want to get as high as is safe on this drug, I'm assuming taking all three pills (3 mg.) shouldnt be anywhere near too much, given the dosage range, but I'd like your opinions.

3mg of klonopin should be fine. 20 wouldn't be that is the dose range for crazy tolerant users.

I agree, 3 mg is a good dose. Certainly I wouldn't go over 6 mg unless you have a tolerance.

And if you drink, drink only beer and very slowly unless you want to not remember the whole night and/or wind up in the hospital

I'm not 100% positive but the only white klonopins I have ever seen have been 2mg pills. If they have a diameter of that of a Bic pen, and have crease so you can break it in half, I'd make sure to double check that they are really only 1 mg each. Just make sure they are only 1mg each because 3mg of klonopin is a lot different than a 6mg dosage. Also, klonopins are benzo's. You cant kill yourself from benzo's so no matter how many you take, you will not die. You can put yourself in a coma, but Im sure it will take more than 20mg to do some real coma type damage.

Unless, as has been sort of mentioned, you're also drinking. Drinking with benzos CAN kill you. Just keep that in mind. Not as bad as barbituates and drinking, but not exactly free-wheelin' safe either.

Thanks for your advice. I'll probably go with all three, coupled with not more than a shot of rum. (any more would be pushing it IMO)... And i know the pills are 1 mg. as that's what it says on the bottle, but just to be safe I'll look them up on RxList....

K-Pins are my favorite benzo! They give a nice relaxed buzz and last for a good 12 hours. 3 mgs of Klonopin is about the same as 3mgs Xanax. You might get konked out on 3 mgs if you have no tolerance. But you will feel great. I hope you just plan on chillin at home or somewhere you can crash if you have too. Enjoy!

All I can say is, careful with the K-pins, once I took a 2 mg (which I had done before) after coming down from meth --you know to stop that TTWWWEEEEEAAAAAAKKKKKKKYYYYY feeling, and I actually had an entire 20-minute plus phone conversation of which I don't remember anything.
I mean I might as well well not have had that conversation, I just (still) don't remember it...

Oh yeah, I had to chill with these after I started having some blackouts and short term memory loss. Benzo's will definately fuck with your memory.

I'd just start out taking the two & see how they make you feel. If you wanna get more twisted take the other one later on. But take it easy on the drinking...

Another idea: you might want to take the pills and wash them down with the rum and then hide the alcohol from yourself in some hard to get place. That way when you are all fucked up and decide that another shot or two of rum would make you feel just a little better you cant actually do it.
I had a friend who used to hide the LSD from himself so he couldnt redose himself when he was out of his head. Its a smart idea.

2 mg's should be more than enough, seriously...3mg's if you wanna get put on your ass...

Probably too late now but klonopins have a variable rate of absorbtion. Meaning onset for me can be 2-4 hours if you want the drink to work at all you might want to wait awhile. Of course onset could differ in your case.
