So I am curious if anyone else has had this issue with their doctor/psychiatrist. I don't even have withdrawal from benzos anymore and I still don't feel completely normal without them.
I was prescribed Klonopin 1mg/day from age 19-26. I am 29 years old now. I have been unable to get my Klonopin prescribed again for 3 years now. So I get it when I can from dealers but of course that is almost impossible since it is so hard to find and I hate Xanax and Valium they make me sleepy and Klonopin does the opposite basically. The one person I can get it from takes weeks to actually meet up with me. And usually takes the entire day to finally come through.
I used to get them from the DN but I cannot afford the Paxful prices of bitcoin and all DN and RC sites require bitcoin unfortunately (probably for good reason though). And also don't want to.
Anyway, I am prescribed 8mg/Suboxone every month and my doctor knows I get Klonopin off the street after I stopped getting it from my doctor. And she just asks if I am still only taking 1mg/day. I always test positive for benzos and suboxone, nothing else for over 2 years.
I lost my prescription after buying my house and having to change doctors because I couldn't drive that far out every month. So the next doctor told me to see a psychiatrist to get it again and when I did from 2 different ones they wouldn't re-prescribe it.
The doctor I see for Suboxone is cash only so I don't know if it's because I am an "addict" and that is why. But I couldn't get them prescribed again before I even started getting Suboxone.
Anyway, do you guys have trouble getting it from your Suboxone doctor?
All the people I used to know that went to Suboxone doctors seemed to get it along with their suboxone every time no problem. All I can get for anxiety is Gabapentin and that doesn't really help like Klonopin does.
They seem to not want to give benzos to Suboxone patients anymore. It sucks because I am finishing my degree this Fall semester and it is difficult to concentrate with how much anxiety I have everyday. I have been able to surpass the withdrawal symptoms of benzos but I still feel like I need them for anxiety which I why I started taking them to begin with.
The worst part is if I could just get it prescribed again, I would do what I used to, not talk to dealers anymore. I only ever look for Klonopin and never get anything else. And they're halfway impossible to find or charge so much for them.
