Klonopin and xanax

So SWIM has a moderate tolerance to xanax and it's been quite noticeable recently. SWIM is a very tiny person, 4'11" and 102 pounds, so they shouldn't be able to handle a lot. Their stomach was a little on the full side and they could barely feel the effects of 5 MG of xanax. I'm wondering if SWIM should take 2 MG of klonopin and wait an hour or so, then take the same or less amount of xanax? Recreational use of course. Wondering if this is a bad idea or not. Please help as they're new to the pill thing. Thanks in advance.

First of all, welcome to BL!!
Just to remind you that BL does not use SWIM anymore.
They will explain you why. Actually most of sites like this have abolished the SWIM, so I suggest you change it. Okay?
About the Xanax, if you have a moderate tolerance, don´t mix it other things.
I tell you this because you are also very small so you´ll have to balance the quantities.
Since benzos are different for everyone, i wouldn´t mix them at all.
You could take them with promethazine so you elevate the level of absorption.

I wouldn't mix them…
I've been on benzos and used to have 2 different kinds… I messed myself up for sometime on that family of drugs, up to high amounts. I eventually switched to longer acting ones only to cut down.

Yeah.. TBH I have mixed the two with decent results but that is just me and it was always a low dose of each one. If you have a moderate tolerance to benzos you would probably be ok to mix them, only if you keep the dose low. I would say start out with maybe 1mg of klonopin and 1mg of Xanax and see how you feel. from there you should be able to tell if that is too much or too little to get the feeling you desire. I have been scripted klonopin for years and it has always been my favorite benzo because its long acting. I have always had bad social anxiety and general anxiety and the klonopin does a great job getting rid of that. Xanax is also a good benzo for social/general anxiety but has a much shorter half-life and is geared more towards getting rid of sudden anxiety attacks. Everyone reacts differently to benzos though and only you can decide what a good dose is for yourself. Just be careful what every you decide to do. Good luck!
