Klonopin and Opana....I love the high! Anyone out there use these drugs?

Hey!
First time posting on Bluelight! I hope I'm posting in the right place. I couldn't seem to find any new threads about these drugs. I was prescribe them for an injury 1.5yrs. ago and I rapidly fell in love with Klonopin and was chewing them up like candy with in months just to make my anxiety level out. I was also taking Opana(Oxymorphone) for the injury. I can't get enough of the feeling of them together on an empty stomach. My mind is clear and I feel alive!! Anyone out there wanna chat about either one or both of these drugs? I don't wanna hear how it messed up your life(used to that from other forums)...sorry, don't mean to be rude...I realize the Klonopin is messing with my memory, etc. Just wanna talk...feeling kind of lonely knowing my friends no nothing about this...they know I like to drink and take muscle relaxers.

As someone prescribed benzos for many years it doesn't last.
 
Klonopin is a pretty nice benzo but Opana is actually comparatively a weaker opiate compared to others in its class. I know people with 200-300mg a day Oxycodone habits that would rather go dry than use their money to buy Opana. Although I do admit a combination of the two is quite pleasant, not specifically Klonopin and Opana but the general combination of Opioids and Benzodiazapines. I would find myself going through 120 pill prescriptions of 1mg Xanax and 10mg Oxycodone in a matter of days. I love the feeling and benzos ARE known to potentate opiates to some degree so I'm not surprised you like the combo to say the least lol.

Also this lol. I loved Benzos for the first couple of weeks i was experimenting with them but it soon took a turn for the worse as expected. When I was still taking them with the Oxycodone I found my tolerance skyrocketed and I ended up having to take so much to get the same effect that when I started to nod off from the opiates I would fall asleep and wake up outside of my house and even wake up with no idea where I was. Which I can tell you from first hand exp, is NOT fun. I started passing out when the nod got too bad and falling asleep for unhealthy amounts of time. I hadn't slept for so long since the last time I had alcohol poisoning. It got pretty bad and eventually I decided the side effects weren't worth it and just quit cold turkey. Given I had to up my dose of Oxy for a while but still.

Yeah, I think I'm pretty weak to most I'm reading on here. I take 6mg. most days of kpin and 10-15mg of Opana and Zanaflex just to keep it going. I take Percs too.
 
are you recovered? I have terrible insomnia, unless I have a drink or 2 w/ them. Sleeping would be nice :)
 
Welcome to bluelight and also getting high is perfectly fine but klonopin and vicodin are very addictive just becareful they are fun but every day I don't think it sounds fun especially with an empty stomach
 
It's not an every day mix. I take klonopin every day for anxiety.Opana is only effective on an empty stomach...that is the way I've always used it for my injury(at least that's what my doc told me and the script says) I'm careful..thank you.
 
Eh, I wouldn't say I was ever addicted in the first place so yea I guess I am recovered lol. I couldn't find these two together yet alone by themselves most of the time so I could never manage to do them everyday or whenever I wanted to for more than a month or so at a time. The worst I ever got was a physical IR Morphine Sulfate addiction that lasted about 2 months. I was railing 100-350mg of it a day for a little over 60 days and then had to quit cold turkey so it wasn't very pretty. I relied heavily on other drugs to get me over it but I still have an insatiable appetite for opiates. I just can't find them very often. As for the insomnia I have no advice sadly. Usually by the end of the day I was so sleepy I couldn't hold my eyes open, especially when mixing the two.
 
welcome, i do love klonopin or pretty much any benzo lol. i have never tried Opana, but i do oxycodone with the benzo mix, and absolutely love it!
 
are you taking your opana orally? they are much better snorted unless that whole new formulation has messed that up. For everyone else in this thread, yes benzos go great with opiates but they are a dangerous combo so be careful, many people do end up dying from this combo.

thanks for the welcome! I just love the warm feeling throughout my arms and legs and it's the only time my mind calms down.

no, I would never snort pain meds, I heard/seen/read people do...not for me. In regards to the new formulation.....could this be the reason I can now only find one pharmacy in my area that even carries Opana? I call around and they act like I'm crazy when I say, do you carry it.
 
Welcome! I'm new as well. I'm also a chronic pain patient. I took Opana for years and loved it. I had to switch when they changed the formula bc it didn't work for me. It was like digesting a pebble and weak. I take Oxycontin now, with Perc and Soma. Sometimes I throw in a little Gabapentin and Klonopin for good measure. I can't say I get the euphoria that most people get from opiates alone but the mix is quite pleasant ;)

Welcome to you too! Sorry for your pains...I know it sucks. Do you know if they only changed the formula in the higher dosages? I've been trying to get info online about that....my are the 5mg....I have to take a few to have them work. But, there is only one pharmacy near me that even carries Opana anymore....so I'll be screwed that soon enough. I take Zanaflex almost daily too, doesn't much relax my muscles anymore....unless I double up.(I use it more for my insomnia and it makes everything else I take stronger) Soma has been mentioned to me by docs. Does it have any bad effects, not really relating to mixing...just taking it in general? I love the Opana...puts me in a great mood, works much better than my anti-depressant.

I personally prefer Soma. Mine are Watsons. I prefer that brand. I believe all Opana are the new formula. Mine were 20mg and when I called the manufacturer to complain about not being able to digest them they confirmed they are using a new formula.
 
Well my cat never used k pins with opana's but He has used Xanax with them. But he is assuming that it's almost the same. My cat started out getting the 5 mg stop signs cause that's all He could find He also had a decent benzo tolerance and would usually snort about 15-25 mg (He knos its a lot of powder) and then pop 2.5-3 name brand Xanax bars most of the time He would nod off for several mins at a time the benzos for sure made the high SO relaxing. Almost too much haha. He ended up switching to dilaudid and back to oxycodone because they weren't worth the price to my cat and he couldn't find the ir's and they were too much work to shoot up . And if he got lucky he would get some very good black tar. Heroin just isn't very common in east tn. Anyway back to subject mixing benzo (and barbs for that matter) is incredible. Just be extremely careful and if your tolerance is low dont even think about it.
