I know this has been covered before as in taking too much of both will lead to a OD and probably fatal, due to the respiratory depression. But my question is how much of Kpin will increase a euphoric effect i Get when taking the methadone? Will it boost it in any way if i take as little as possible? :D

I have taken both at the same time... and I noticed no difference. However both were in theraputic doses. Upon adding Opana and Roxicodone and Valium to the mix I had an "accidental" buzz. If you have no benzo tolerance I wouldn't fuck with it. I have a good friend who died that way,

a fuckload of people will say dont mix benzos esp strong ones with methadone
but i take 110mg , 3mg xanax and 10mg valium every morning n neva had a prob , am fine at work , honestly i dont even feel the drugs effects anymore unless i down heaps of xanax after a bender on the old uppers

for some reason my doc thought lowering my xanax dose and throwing in valium wld help tapering , since my first seizure im prone to em alot now wich is abit shit

That's because you have a tolerance to benzos. People without tolerance to benzodiazepines have greater risk of overdose (when combined with Methadone).

I can't say if it increases the euphoria because I too had a massive tolerance before being put onto Methadone. I was taking Klonopin 8mg/daily and I was on 90mg Methadone.

I should have stayed at 90....or 85....but no. Lame. I also can and have been taking temazepam ontop of methadone I do it like this. No tolerance, or never taken these pills then don't on methadone get a take home play with a klonopin see how you like it, and if it makes you drowsy no more. Actually anyone whos non tolerant should take xanax over klonopin with methadone I would say right? Klonopin lasts forever. I've taken 7mg of klonopin on 110mgs of methadone.

I, believe it or not, went COLD TURKEY from 90mg. I did it so I could switch onto Suboxone and not spend so much time having to taper down to 30mg before I could switch over. I was puking for nearly a couple weeks, spasms jolting me all over and hallucinating. I wanted to die. I'm surprised I didn't slit my wrists. I think I've told you this before. Good luck when its time to get off the 'done. I wish the best.

I took 4mg of liquid klon and 50mg of methadone this morning, but i'm tolerant to both (to an extent).
Contemplating taking another 1mg of klon sublingually (pill form obviously), but I don't want to push the envelope... I noticed the pill form hits much more than the liquid form at this stage, for whatever reason.
Anyway, I think I'll take a good book and forget the 1mg of klon. Even if it's contemplating a so-so night.

I have been on many pain killers for the last ten years for pain managment and after a year of trying to get into a pain clinic and finally did six months ago I was put on methadone to include my regular daily doses of percocet. My methadone of course has been increased and I still take my daily doses of percocet. Some days the pain is manageable and other days I go through so much pain I can't even literally move my body to get out of bed to use the bathroom. I am 35 years old and my daily pain with methadone and percocet is on pain scale of 7 and that is normal average pain for me. On the really bad days it is way past a 10 to the point I am ready to go to the hospital and get an injection which I am SCARED to death of needles so, for me to go the emergency room means the pain is so excruciating that I want someone to hit me with a bus. Question is, with all that I keep reading about methadone and the risks and all the good it is supposed to do is it really okay to be taking methadone as it is perscribed for me twice a day and to take my percocet as it is perscribed throughout the day for break through pain as the label on my perscription bottle says? My pain control doctor is an anastelogist at the pain clinic which is located in the cancer center at the hospital that I am monitored monthly by. Does anyone also know why somedays my medicine seems to be working and manageable and other days the pain is so out of control that when I take my medicine it doesn't even touch the pain surface such as I just took methadone and percocet for no reason at all. If anyone has any insight to this please email me at [email protected]. Thank you for having these comment sections for those who are looking for answers. I have learned so much through these search engines about the risks etc and it is quite scary that you can overdose on methadone when my doctor told me directly that you CAN NOT overdose on methadone. Which do I beleive? The doctor who I am intrusting my life with or all the different things that I have been reading? Help please. On top of being on the methadone and percocet I also am on elavil, kolonpin, xanaz and other medications on a daily basis all perscrbed by my doctor who keeps in contact with my pain doctor. I am on 13 different medications on a daily basis ranging from asthma, anxiety and panic attacks to pain managment meds. I even have to take b6, b12 and thiamine all perscribed by my two doctors. Can someone help me understand why my pain meds don't seem to be working or could it be something else and can you really overdose on methadone?:)

YES, you CAN overdose on Methadone! Its very easy for a non-tolerant person.
