I like to drink, mostly on the weekends and drink around 4-8 beers a night, take a few shots too sometimes. I take 1mg of klonopin everyday but tend to take a few extra when im drinking. I also suffer from slight sleep apnea. Other drugs that i use(rarely) are Marijuana, Cocaine, and most recently snorted Heroin( I liked it, was the best sleep I ever got);) I notice that sometimes I stop breathing right before I fall asleep and it wakes me up but once I'm asleep its fine, but I have been told I snore horribly and to me it seems I sleep fine once I finally get to the REM stage of sleep. What worries me are the moments when I stop breathing, I am afraid I may not wake up again one of these nights. :?

Yeah I would say that's a problem. Don't mix the meds with alcohol, and if you still have the apnea, see a doctor. I can't take opiates myself, at least not unless I know I'll be awake the whole time, because I get apnea if I go to sleep on them. So I know what you are describing.

Yeah, benzos and alcohol are a bad idea, but I guess that if you can be worried while drunk about it you're not that in danger imo. You'll black out before you're too far, sometimes even pass out and sleep 20+hs, of course unless you're taking a lot of benzos or drinking very fast. Id say 1mg is ok if you dont push your luck and drink recklessly

There is an airway machine and surgery that can cure the apnea. You wake up a bit when you stop breathing but do not realize it then you start again. It probably increases the risk to combine sedatives with the condition.

I take 1mg of clonazepam per night and do like a drink but only 1 or 2 pints just before bed as a nightcap. Since I have been taking the clonazepam I have decided to stop the 1 or 2 drinks before bed but this is harder than expected as I have been doing this for over 20 years. That demon drink is harder to stop than I ever imagined

Basically a repeat of what everyone else has said, but someone from my home town died from taking ~8 or so Xanax (which, essentially, are k-pins) with a combination of drinking. He died from suffocation, which is what scares me about you saying you can't breathe sometimes. I don't think there's any harm in taking them with drinking, maybe 1 or 2. But it's very dangerous and definitely not worth your life.

what i failed to mention is that i also take Zyprexa for Bi Polar disorder...this probably seems like a no brainer but I have survived alot. I used to take large amounts of morphine and other opiates while drinking. Maybe its just not my time...i would prefer to be stoned rather than drunk but when there is no weed, i tend to try and get high by what ever means necessary...

7.5 mg is what im taking of Zyprexa... just fyi.... I was given a c-pap machine for the sleep apnea but no longer use it. How much k-pin can i take before its lethal??

Why get soused when you've got benzodiazepines? Not only is their mix potentially deadly, it's absolutely unnecessary from my perspective. Why it is unnecessary is because it would be tantamount to drinking coffee and and insufflating cocaine for energy. Or dropping acid and mescaline simultaneously to trip.

Maybe I'm naïve, but a benzo and a drink are both used for the same effect: decreasing anxiety, social inhibition, diffidence, etc., so to comport oneself more appropriately (e.g., to become gregarious, garrulous, assertive, vivacious, jovial, sexual) in a social setting. Wouldn't one or the other do the trick? Well, it does for me, but how about in general? I'd say so.
