I'm a happy person, sir
I just like to frown
You dont have to beleive me
But I'm really not down.
The thunder may be rolling
And the sky may be grey
But dont you agree
It's kinda fitting today.

Obsessions with meat
And all the things i dont need
The world is an oyster
Thats too long from the sea.
She gave me a map
Of all the places outside
But what good is it to me
When im stuck on this ride?

And I laugh at the idea of a disgusting thing
And I laugh coz maybe this is how its always been
You can swim or you can drown
And either way, one day you'll die
I laugh because you can't reverse the tides.

The ground is collapsing
And the sky's caving in.

wow this is great stuff. lofty language isn't required to write something meaningful. i can totally side with the meaning of these words in that life is life and bad things happen. you can't control everything (and i bet you wouldn't want to if you could). so sometimes you gotta roll with the punches, because if you don't, you might end up knocked out in an earlier round anyway.

Great post harraser. I like thses lines best I get told to smile so much, when they don't realize, I'm not feeling what my face is showing.

Ant angel, another very well worded peice.

maps are good for inspiration and outlooks at where ur journey is going to take you. even if it looks like a long and painfully bumpy ride...once you get there it will all be worth it. ;)

(keep the map as a form of inspiration and encouragment. it has given you something to plan out more thorough now and no doubt something to keep aiming towards. you have always reached your goals as long as i have known you and this is another one which wil be something incredible for you to remember)

ur choice of words in this peice is great and very well selected :) it was different to your normal peices i have read and does not lack form in any way at all.

remeber: you cant be lil mr sunshine 24-7. even if u do frown often it doesnt have to resemble ur current mood :)

I like how you've used this 'happy' rhyming it works so neatly with the pieces meaning... anyways, I like it too.
 
I understand if you need to accept inevitability, existence, unchanging pasts and/or darkly ironic circumstances. But if you ever accept unhappiness I'll come over there and beat the shit out of you. With all of the love that I possess. :)

From a literary standpoint (and a personal one) this is one of the best things you've written love; the simple cadence implies a light, sing-song message. But the emotions seem to border pain-induced insanity. Gives it a foreboding, mocking tone and is fairly brilliant IMO.
