kill what you can't nurture II
in the faint blue light from the moon,
she looks serene
happy
but soon she'll get pulled back
into the constant disruption of existence
from godlike equilibrium
back into slow decomposition
and her wings will yet again
be those of insects
I understand the urge
to kill what you can't nurture
I want to touch her skin
the wet black tendrils of hair
but I'm afraid -
everyone around me disintegrates
they crumble
the same way that small planets
are torn into stardust
by the gravitational force
of bigger ones
in the faint blue light from the moon,
she looks serene
happy
but soon she'll get pulled back
into the constant disruption of existence
from godlike equilibrium
back into slow decomposition
and her wings will yet again
be those of insects
