But before we sanctify good old John, put that into perspective. Multi-millionaire with an interest in drugs comes to BL When the site was in deep financial trouble having just lost its benefactor and....takes the piss.

After reading a lot of his blog which you posted earlier Ceres, and taking into consideration his BL thread, I've got a theory on this whole new scenario being very much staged (with some littered truths), in much the same vein as the Joaquin Phoenix becomes a rapper thing was. I think it's a bit of genuis tbh.

I was going to read that whole original MDPV thread, until I found out if any of it was true. Haha. I wonder how much the bet was for, because it certainly took enough of his time. He got plenty of people, there. Proper trolling.
 
Perhaps not Ceres, I know I'll never be sure why he did it myself. But everything else he says there is damn spot on.

He created several alts in that thread. If it was a bet I think the other party involved might have had a case for non-payment because McAfee cheated.

Who knows what was behind it? Probably just McAfee.
 
The photos, not the general lab ones but the close-ups of work surfaces were what gave away his alts (although most people still refused to see this deception when it was in front of their eyes). Apparently he is famous for doing such things on the net, presenting an argument then backing it up through sockpuppetry. Fuck, I even learned that word because of him.

But the sheer amount of effort he put into it...I'm pretty sure he actually gave out his (a) phone number to more than one person.....yeah, some interesting bet.
 
He said anyone who had his number or e-mail wouldn't be able to reach him on them, after a week. That was quite a big clue, looking at it.
 
Well he was claiming he was a herbal chemist in the jungle wasn't he, to other people, trying to get some BS wonder drug (oh this sounds familiar) on the market.

And he's McAfee. Expensive was neither here nor there. He bought the Belize customs a fucking boat, or rather gave them his because it was better than theirs.
 
is he am-hi-co? I read the old MDPV thread 10 days ago. was enthralling.

He must surely have something to do with am-hi-co if not actually own it.

Way too much of a co-incidence that they are based in Belize and where all over mdpv aka ivory wave. Then Stuff monger posted a piucturte of dozens on am-hi-co products claimaing he had bought them to analyse.

This would explain why he had a lab.

But again, that would make it an extravagant and none too successful ad for am-hi-co.

It was all just a bit weird. Nothing like too much PV then.

There's nothing in that lab that you'd need for manufacturing salvia extracts. It does look like he's got a few erlenmeyer flasks filled with what looks like crude extract that's being washed with a non-polar solvent. But none of that kit is necessary or even particularly useful for that process.

lol what? It looks exactly like what I'd use if I was going to extract salvinorin-a from raw salvia leaf. What kit would you use?
