Hey guys, I was just wondering if many of you know about nephritis. My friend has the condition and he would like to know the possible negative consequences that would affect this condition due to the use of MDMA.

Some general questions he has include;

- What could happen to his kidneys due to the effects of MDMA
- Whether or not it is seriously not recommended
and
- How to prevent as much damage to the kidneys as possible while under MDMA's influence.

Any Info would be seriously appreciated.

If you look at what the Kidneys do in the body, remove toxins, regulate blood pressure, regulate certain hormones etc. Now Nephritis (swelling of the kidneys) can impair there day to day functions and that’s without the added burden of dealing with a toxin like MDMA.

I’m sure that the doctor has advised certain changes to diet and to avoid alcohol etc to limit the strain that the kidneys are under – same would apply to MDMA.

If you look at the kidneys as a filter, at the moment its damaged do you really want to increase the work load?

Lay off the MDMA, alcohol and any other toxins – I don’t know for sure but it would be much better to err on the side of caution and avoid using. If the amounts of toxins being pushed through the already damaged filter then surely it’s safe to assume that further damage would occur upto the point of total collapse.

I would say that in this instance there is no safe way to use MDMA or to reduce the effects - normally I would say vitamins, antioxidants, liquids etc but these all end up going through the kidneys so could only make matters worse.

The above is simply my opinion!
