it sounds like one of jew balls posts was a little insensitive and passed unsupported judgements on you. However, i can tell he's speaking from experience, and it might just be tough love that gets you out of this terrible habit. His intentions are very good, but that second post is too assumptive. How can you acurately predict how strong his will power is from a few paragraphs of text?
Anyway, i've never used Heroin, so i'm a little out of my element here. I am hoping that in the fullness of time i can become a drug aficionardo and expert, so i'm spending considerable time reading posts containing information i know little about.
But i truely wish you the best of luck. Speaking from the position of someone who has been through truely harrowing cannabis psychosis, and i know it's a world apart from heroin, i will offer you this advice. This is what i learned after i finally managed to quit, and stopped relapsing...
Try to develop new activities in your life that will take your mind off the dope, find new ways to enjoy yourself, whatever takes your fancy and suits who you are.
Try to reach the point where you genuinely have no desire to use the drug whatsoever, not even the slightest inclination. Because if you show even a little weakness, that will plague your mind until you relapse. Just keep focusing on all the problems the drug has caused, and all the consequences of another relapse.
Definitely find new friends who enjoy other activities, possibly other drugs, however don't replace one form of escapism for another. I know someone is doing to rail me for suggesting you just replace one drug with another, but sometimes another type of high, if used responsibly, following extensive reseach, and in moderation, can help you forget the original high. Personally, i found another ecstacy dealer, and haven't looked back since. Now i know this is going to be very hard, given how intensely euphoric heroin makes you feel, but maybe a totally different type of high, one which can't even be compared would be healthy. Perhaps move back into the realm of psychadelics? I have made enormous personal progress with these.
Finally, and most importantly, face your biggest problems, analyze yourself and work out what is is that pushed you towards opiates in the first place, why you feel you need to escape reality.
Again, hope this helps, best of luck, stay strong, stay positive
