Ketamine tips for a noob?

So someday this week I am going to be getting a gram of R-isomer ketamine. I have never done a dissociative drug before so should I start with key bumps or small lines the size of a match and super thin? Anyway after I dose I plan to lay on my bed and drift off into ketamine goodness what type of music should I play? More trippy or vocal songs. Any suggestions will be great!

Prepare your ket into lines before hand, and wait about 5-10 minutes before each line. It's generally better to slide into holes than jump in headfirst. And lines are more efficient than bumps, especially under the effect of ketamine. I'd say maybe 50-60mg per line for a first timer? Maybe make that first line a bit less, just to test the waters.

With regards to music, have this prearranged too. IME most music sounds quite odd on ketamine, except for downtempo (or anything else similarly slow, probably). I pretty much exclusively listen to beautiful, chilled, slow stuff. Sometimes more trippy, sometimes not.

Small lines are good for first time, just make sure you give it time to kick in properly before taking more because the effects can be quite overwhelming tbh. As for music, I agree with Tranced, chilled, trippy music is really good on ket as you can physically feel yourself becoming as one with it, I found vocal songs and rap didnt do much for me on it but that's just my experience. The trippy videos on youtube are quite enjoyable on K aswell.

Like others have said slow and steady wins the race. Dont mix it with alcohol or you will have a bad time. I was at the family's house downtown about eight years ago the first time I did K. We were drinking whiskey jamming to music all night when one of my comrades decided to bust out a couple bumps of ketamine for everybody which I was more than eager to indulge in because up to that point in my life the only other dissociative I had experience with was DXM. I was hanging out with a lot of interesting people during that part of my life and felt like I was living in the movie Party Monster. Hit those bumps one after the other then proceeded to spin out into this Technicolor merrygoround. Like I was strapped to a spinning wheel full of forever changing colors. Came to and the owner of the house was mopping up my vomit. He wasn't mad or anything he just suggested I take it easy next time, which is why I am telling you it isn't a race, and the affects may be overwhelming if you are feeling ballsy and decide to be a hero ;)

Well haha I tried ketamine, I got a gram of coke and a gram of ketamine and the ketamine looked exactly like the coke! So I dumped the baggie into a different storage container and cut the bag open and scraped out the left over powder and formed it into a nice little line and snorted it... Once I smelt it I thought "This is really good blow!" but after a few minutes my head started to feel heavy and the ketamine high began. It was actually super cool whenever I was walking around I felt like I was made out of rubber. Overall good time :p

Normally pure ketamine is a fairly lumpy powder, a 60 mg line is a standard dose if it is the first time it is used and it looks quite large. It almost does not hurt, if we consider the thickness of the line. I recommend you buy a Balance of 0.001mg. In EBAY you can find some very cheap.

I don't have much experience with K, although I have tried DXM and MXE, so I have a little experience with dissociative drugs.
K for me has a lot of body load and hits very fast (snorting) unlike other dissociatives.
It's crazy, the world simply looks from a completely different perspective. Towards the end, K has a very positive glow, partly due to the inhibition of serotonin reuptake, which makes it unique in that regard.
Music does not matter anymore. The first time I did Ketamine I chose the music very carefully, but then I realized that it sounded strange, distant, cold and impersonal. Now I prefer K in the dark and in silence. With the deprivation of the senses K is much more powerful, I recommend that you do this experiment.

For me, the dissociatives are a very special kind of drugs, no other family manages to separate me from my ego so relentlessly. DXM is much longer and, in general, the effect is less predictable. MXE is like K, but I can dissect my mind much better and towards the end I love the state of mania.
K is a rocket to space where everything feels strange and at the same time familiar, and in 1 hour you are resurrected in the world of mortals. =D

Good trip, friend.

Perhaps the appearance alone is a hallmark of how Ketamine has crystallized, in that case it could present different textures. Maybe in the previous post I was wrong in that regard.8)

For me, of the 3 lots that I have bought, I have always had a "bloated" powder with very low density. I think "lumpy" isn't the word I was looking for because I could really see micro-crystals.

The 3 lots had a +98% purity according to EC.

It turns lumpy in the new container but since it was in a dime bag and flattened I couldn't really tell. And because im aware that ketamine is a crystal and the coke I normally get isn't really shiny so I assumed it was the ket when really it was the blow. I get the clumpy part now if I let it sit for a little and look at the stuff it forms kinda little balls and the stuff is pretty sticky much more then coke.

Ketamine should crunch when crushed as it's more a crystalline powder than coke which clumps. It should be fairly obvious... Ketamine usually is see through while coke is white

Welcome to BL, nice avatar lol. For music I'd try something ambient, best recommendation I've ever has was Boards of Canada
