ketamine nausea

I experience a lot of nausea whenever i use ketamine. Normally I would smoke weed to relieve my nausea issues, but I have been unable to smoke for the past few months. Has anyone had similar issues? What did you do to combat them? Can you recommend any antiemetics for me? I really enjoy using ketamine but the nausea is so bad it makes me not even want to do it...

I would try promethazine. But i've never mixed the two. But it seems to work for all nausea.

I believe i need a prescription for that...would u say it works better than the OTC antihistamines available in the US (enough so it would be worth tracking down a script from a doc)

Hell yes. And its relatively easy to get. Just give your doc a call complaining of lots of nausea and invent a reason for it, sickness or activity. I myself got them b/c i had to take a medication that had nausea as a side-effect (athough i didnt experience it) . SO if your on any meds check the side effects.

try not eating a few hours before taking k?

if u sniff k, maybe u are sniffing too much into ur stomach? try smaller lines more often?

alright....ill give it a shot...the only doc i really see on a regular basis is the one at my methadone clinic. I could claim the methadone is giving me nausea, but she might think i want promethazine for its use potentiating opiates....

kinda off topic question... do u guys find when you ask a doctor for a specific drug by name that it comes off weird...? (like why does this guy know about these things...) just a thought, i always felt weird asking

I agree with not eating for at least an hour and a half (I usually go 2 hrs) before doing the k. I have used promethazine with it and it works just fine.

I just tried k, and made the mistake (perhaps this is it) of eating while still under it. Basically sniffed 32 to try, right after I ate, then 21 a couple hours later, then immediately eating.

Two hours later kind of sick to stomach. Could be a number of things though. I tend to develop allergies after one or so exposures to most things. Or it could be the nasty fragrances I smelled earlier. And or I ate too much.

Still, interesting stuff. I feel lingering effects two-three hours after that second bump.

Also, I have a screwed up knee... K actually made it more uncomfortable, oddly.
