Ketamine mixed with sand (LOL)

How can I extract a gram of Ketamine (which spilt in my pocket) from sand from the the beach? I don't fancy snorting sand.
 
Dissolve it in warm water, then pour off the water, then let it evaporate. Sand won't dissolve in warm water. Ketamine will.

Sorry If I sound clueless (it's because I am) but pour off the water? Put the powder into warm warm, then if I pour the water out will the powder not go with it? I don't understand...
 
Powder is in sand. Pour water in sand powder. Powder dissolves in water. Sand does not dissolve in water. Pour ketamine water into a cup, filtering out the sand. Let water evaporate from ketamine water and you're left with ketamine. Hope understand you this better.
 
Oh right yeah I understand, thankyou. Would the easiest way to be to filter the sand out by eye just slowly pouring the water into a cup? Also, is there a way of hurrying up the process? Maybe placing the water into a bowl and putting it above a hot stove?

Ya, just pour it off. Sand settles outta water real fast. Use hot water, and you don't need to use much water (the more you use now, the more you'll have to evaporate later). If there's a lot of sand involved (ie, "I spilled my bag of K on the beach, now I have a cup of sand with a gram of K in it"), do a second rinse to get most of the K left in the water that the sand is wet with out.

After that you've got a solution of ketamine in water. Ketamine is fine under gentle heat. I had great success with putting liquid ketamine into a glass plate, and heating that in the toaster oven on low heat. That has the advantage in that you can watch it, and turn down the heat so it's not boiling, but is hot enough to speed evaporation, and the plate will spread the liquid out - more surface area = faster evaporation.
 
Another way of doing it would be to treat it like a cold water extraction. Dissolve it all in water and then pour it through a t-shirt/cloth into a cup. The sand will be caught by the cloth and the water&ketamine will go straight through. Evaporate the water afterwards and bingo - ketamine recovered :).
