Yes, I *have* searched BL, Erowid, and Lycaeum. I know this has been rehashed a hundred times, but every post is piecemeal, there's nothing comprehensive. I still have an unanswered question. So shoot me.

I'm a 165 lb guy and I'm doing K tomorrow. I'm going to be out all night and I want to stay *relatively* functional. I've read "just do a key bump every 20 minutes till I get where I want to be." First off, wtf is a "key" bump. The only bumps I know of is where you twist the jar off below the base of your thumb and leave a pile a little smaller than a tic-tac. If this is not a "key bump," please tell me what is. Everything I read was measured in mg... but nowhere could I find how many mg are in an average bump... anyone know?
But I've also read something (erowid or lycaeum) suggesting that K doesn't keep building on itself after the initial doseage, which would mean that 20-min bumps would become useless after a few. Did I misunderstand? Any comments?
Finally, can someone of similiar body weight tell me what kind of regimen works for them to keep them somewhat functional... i.e. "2 bumps (my definition of bump?), then every 20 minutes for the next hour." Keep in mind that I'll be out from 10-4 at least. At what point can I start back up with maintenance bumps, without inducing a k-hole by building on what's already in my system? Is there such a thing as "it's too soon to start back up again after it begins to wear off?"
Thanks a shitload for any input you can give me. I want to be as informed as possible.. better to do things the smartest way, which is what BL is about, right?
 
For me staying relatively functional isn't an option. Even after a small dose of K, after it wears off about an hour later i feel nauseous and need to lay down. For me K isn't something i'd do on a night out. Movement compounds the nausea.
Start off snorting a tiny bit - see how you feel after an hour or so. If you're one of the people who get nauseous on it you'll still be able to function. If you take a big dose you'll be ill all night.
Try snorting a line half as long as your little finger and half as thick to start with.
K is really for serious self-exploration at home in bed. I wouldn't take it on a night out to be honest.
 
A key bump is literally that. You scoop up some powder on the end of a key and bump it. The mg dose of a key bump varies based on the size of the key, etc, but tends to be about 25-35mg. (Maybe?) It is a little smaller than a tic-tac.
It doesn't build, 20 mins apart would just extend the high. If you want to stay functional, key bumps will work just fine. Mixing in some cocaine tends to help as well.
I'm about your size, but I avoid staying functional at all costs when I have K. The point where functioning is totally impossible kicks in at about 100-125mg IM. I recommend you try a nice big dose a couple of days after your night out so you can truly experience K.
 
I find it weird and confusing in a social setting. Definitely one for the home, preferably when you have a favourite program on the TV - reality can get a little confused and its a good positive anchor if you need it.
