I've used Ketamine wuiet extensively for the past years as well as DMT. Always used the stuff when alone, dark room, laying down, usually breakthrough doses only. I've broken through on dmt a few times, one that I can clearly recall, one time that I was completely gone from my room. Still I have never left my body behind. I enter another world, but I am travelling there staying in my body. I#ve only experienced real ago death on combinations like DPT and Ketamine. Besides that (which was a total overkill) my ego seems to be pretty hard to kill. :D

Anyway, back to the experience. Got up thursday morning, did ampehtamine and small ketamien doses at night until 11pm. Then stayed up until the next day (saturday) when I arrived at a friend and started doing more ketamine. I mustve went to about 150mg, some of the consumed substance being uncut dried s isomer, some of it being about 70% racemic k (according to gc/ms results). Both these substances were adminsitered intranasally over the course of about an hour. Then after about two hours, when most of the ketamine effects had subsided, my friend had the idea to smoke some dmt which swim had freshly extracted from MHRB. An unknown amount was loaded into the pipe by him. All the individuals present (4 people besides me) had done ketamine in about the same dosage range as I had, three (all besides the one who was consuming the dmt with me) had also done moderate doses of mdma, ranging from 70mg to 140mg. I was far enough out there at times, that I wasn't sure whose leg I was lying on. :D The mood was settled, four of us knew each other very well, the fifth person was a female with a very comforting and calming charisma, eventhough coming off as quite eccentric. The room was brightly lit, we were sitting on the long of it near a window, all people sitting on the floor very close to each other, some laying closer to each other cuddling (there was a couple present). The dominating colors in the room were white and rose red, smooth but rythmic electronic music was playing in the background (minimal type of electro).

He started smoking the material and handed me the pipe, it looked liek there was no dmt left in it. I could hardly feel the smoke, it was very smooth (eventhough I have caught a bronchitis in the past week and smokign cigarettes was nearly impossible), so I assumed I caught a very low dose. For what happened then, I was not prepared.

The initial warm energy rush came over my body but it felt less elevating than usually, I still did not expect much. Soon it became clear though that this is taking me somewhere else than my usual journes. Up until now I had always been observer of a different world. I came to a very strange place where all four persons presents were talking and appeared as abstracts characters of their self. Hard to explain. Colors were much brighter than usual, while I had always perceived the dmt visions appearing against a black background, similar to a cavelike surrounding, this time I perceived the world like a shining shimmering bright scene from a animated movie. While I usually perceived external entities in my visions these entities were now my friends, all taking a different shape. I could not recognize them visually anymore. They WERE dmt entities, my mind might have interpreted their voices like this. This is not the point though.

I took my hands down from my face and realized I was again in a different space. Back in the room. I though I must've come down for the most part by now, 5 minutes should have passed. I was amazed to see I was in a different room than were I left from though.

Objects and people had gained a very mystical and comic like appearance, seeming to be clearly outlined. People's eyes were very clear, but my friend who had also smoked the dmt seemed to have four eyes. I looked at him and suddenly everyone stopped talking. It was clear this would be a turning point. I perceived the music being the dominating element now. I turnt my head to the left in mechanical precision. Then when reaching 90° turn I moved it back. While at first doing this completely voluntarily when I moved it back it seemed to go without my help. by the time I was looking to the front again my head was moving without me doing anything. I found it weird when it started aiming my eyes to the floor, but let go of it. Then my body started moving in a bizarre fashion, like the music was controlling it. All people's eyes were now on me and everyone seemed to be wondering what i was doing without passing any comments though.

For a few seconds my body moved without me doing ANYTHING. My torso was moving in a snake like manner, I felt forces coming from all sides pushing it to the front, rotating my torso, stretching my arms like I had seen it in documentaries about ancient tribes that were in ecstasy, practicing their voodoo magic. ;) It faded after a few moments of time.

I stood up, talking incoherently, saying things like: I didn't know. Ketamine and dmt?! What?! What?! Why?! What's happening. This is not what I'm used to. But it seemed like it was over. And the whole time while I was back in the room, there was a parade going through this room (the Dalai Lama is momentarily visiting our town for a week), people were seeing the spectacle that was us and there was a strong feeling of US being observed, not ME observing the entities. They were now coming through our room, wondering what we were doing. WE were in the curious focus of the entities, not the other way around. It was all very comforting. Usually when I come back from my visionary state there's nothing extraordinary to happen anymore, this was different.

Immediately I tried to recapture what happened. I was telling people that the music had moved my body and thought by now I had finally come back. I tried to tell them about it, wanted to show them how I ahd moved and if they really perceived this as strange as I had. So I tried to repeat the movement and AGAIN it started. Again I felt forces coming from all sides MOVING my body, changing the position of my joints, moving me in a BIZARRE manner. To the rythm of the music. It was AMAZING! It felt like I had waken up, like I had given in to the universe, like I was thw world, I was the music and the joy and I was sucking it all up. I was here, I was now and it was beautiful.

Then another thought: I must've turnt crazy, this is it, Im not coming back. This has taken too long I was slightly (!) worried, mentioned this to the others, then saying "Ah, never mind, it's just the dmt, the ketamine must've changed it's effects. It'll be over soon. This was lasting extraordinarily long though. Well I slowly came down, MUCH more slowly than usual. Even an hour later I was still seeing a different world. The dmt gave a different twist to the ketamine.

Ketamine does seem to prolong some drugs' effects for me. When I combine a dose of amp with a small ketamine, I will feel wide awake for up to 40 hours, which would usually only lsat about 8 hours.

Ok this is it. This was profound, this was exactly what I needed for the time to come. I am going to experiment more with my spontaneous out of body experiences that have happened to me over the past few years on a regular basis after falling asleep. I used to be scared of them, then they became annoying and the fear subsideed, now all that's left is a strong curiosity about them. I will be travelling the astral planes and the next few months and it will be great. :)

I'm still puzzled what happened... Has ANYone ever experienced this involuntary movement thing??? It felt amazingly good!!
I found this:

As soon as I got up I threw up, and as the vomit left my stomach I began to have weird spasms in my arms and legs. I thought I was about to have some kind of weird fit although they felt extremely coordinated and perfectly harmonious. I said to my friend "I feel like I'm going to dance", and then relaxing my body completely as if to fall over, I was lifted and thrown into a fast spinning dance which became more and more intense until I had to stop myself. I believe I had been possessed by one of the spirits of the place and because of my increased physical consciousness I could also perceive the perfect accuracy of every muscle movement of the strange dance. It was as if someone had plugged something into my brain and run off a program of sequenced muscle triggers. Every muscle in my body was moving in harmony due to an external force that was controlling me. Maybe the DMT awoke some kind of genetic memory in my DNA but I'm sure that would have been apparent, and I don't see what natural use this would be to a human. This seemed very external and therefore leads me to believe that the DMT did in fact throw me into a world in which other REAL intelligent beings dwell. (http://peyote.com/jonstef/dmt.htm)

wtf is this phenomenom?! what's it called?? are there writings about it? after it had happened i could only compare it to some of the things i see on documentaries, the sort of dancing that some primitive tribes perform. im not shitting you guys, my body was moving without me doing anything to cause it. the music was controlling my body lol.

"the body often bursting with energies they never knew existed. One can let these feelings flow through them, or if appropriate, direct the movements to some type of dance, yogic exercise, or drumming. These "physically manifesting" energies are gentler on N,N-DMT than on 5-MeO-DMT." (http://www.lavondyss.com/donut/guide/dmt.html)

Interesting. So others have felt this before it seems. Maybe I should start a new thread or a poll about it. I don't know how to make a poll. Noone seems to be reading this crappy exp rep of mine anyway.

Btw, I just had my first voluntarily induced obe. It was intense shit. Haha ridiculously easy though. I thought it'd take weeks, now I did it on my first try!!

One woman falls to the ground, convulsing for a moment before she is helped back to her feet. She resumes the dance, moving differently now, and continues dancing for hours. It is perhaps no longer she who is dancing: She is in a trance, apparently possessed by Erzuli, the great mother spirit.
It is an honor to be entered and "ridden" by a Loa, or spirit. In Haiti these rituals are commonplace: Voodoo is the dominant religion.

Excellent report. A while back crOOk your previous 'stash' inspired me enough to spend a few hours reading your past posts so this trip report was a nice addition. I have been experimenting with ketamine combinations and I feel adding some DMT is worth a shot. I am surprised you were willing to try a new combination in a public setting outside your normal setting (alone, dark, etc). I wonder to what degree your radical change of setting added to the intensity of the combination.

You say you had just voluntarily induced your first obe. Was it also with this same combination? if so, im curious to the dosages.

and in reference to the spontaneous movement, i normally feel like spurts of rhythmic movement/dancing (if u want to call it that) during high dose trips, cyclically in waves (not ketamine by itself though, more traditional psychedelics).

Great report though. ty

I'm glad i could serve as inspiration to you MichDMTMESC! The OBE was induced being sober. It's a long story. I can recommend this book for starters: http://tinyurl.com/3dm4ap
OBE's are by far the most amazing part of my life momentarily.
I should add something to the "spontaneous movement" thing, too. Till this day, it's the number one reason for me to believe that life isn't through after death, among with the OBE's. I had no control of my body at all that day. I was completely unable to either stop the "spontaneous movement" phenomenom or move the body parts that were not moving. It was sick! Absolutely beautiful and comforting though, not scary at all.
Anyway, hands off the drugs. They suck ass.
Peace

I'd say that is one of the defining characteristics of "when I get enough ketamine"

You're in med school or whatever, and you know about how when you're falling asleep at a certain stage you lose conscious control of your muscles so you don't act out dreams?

Well for me ketamine is a lot like dreaming without that safeguard, so when I feel theres no gravity I do a spontaneous headstand, or the oscillations of some trance hack into my synapses and take control, pushing my bones into configurations entirely unheard of in suburban white middle class america.

But anyway you're so excited about this thing it sounds like you're still trippin'. I guess you've been pretty damn uptight for a while not to let go like this? Also, have you ever considered that "OBE"s as you term them are just what it feels like to retain awareness as you're falling into stage 4 sleep? Like I said, you seem manic and scary here, don't make any rash decisions because you feel like you've got it all figured out!

Edit: just read about how the "forces" can manifest in drumming... haha I know all about that one too :)

These movements, along with glossolalia have been my MO for powerful trips for two years now. I've experienced it and written about it on K, psilocin, and DMT (this is the shortest of the reports), violently on Rue, cacti, 2C-E, 4-AcO-DMT, and DMT, and also on just 2C-E
I think it might be related to "alien hand" phenomena, where there has been a lesion in the brain that either separates the two hemispheres or separates the left pre-frontal cortex (responsible for volition movements) from the primary motor cortex. Psychedelics use might simulate this kind of dissociation of different sections of the brain resulting in spontaneous movements, idiomotor movements, etc, that occur independently of conscious intention. I also started a thread on glossolalia, which is a spontaneous movement of sorts, just one involving the vocal chords.

Aaah nice, thanks for your post! But seriously, it might be kinda interesting to hear what's going on in the brain, but to me this doesn't get down to the core of the phenomenom. I'd like to think that there's more to me than just my brain with a bunch of chemicals floating around in it.
To me the whole thing isn't primarily about finding out what's really behind it (I never really bothered after letting go of this thread a while back), but more about what the experience means to me. All I can say is that it is the most beautiful thing that's ever happened to me on drugs and (along with the OBE the next day) caused all my speculations about life to become beliefs. What a weekend that was. Interestingly enough, ever since then I haven't felt any urge to ingest psychedelics again (I used to be quite the regular user abuser).

Peace and again, thanks for the infos psood0nym!!
