Well, if we're writing Christmas lists, N-ethylnorketamine would be nice as well, lads.
f&b, I'm curious to know if you have any idea of the effect that substituting bromine or iodine for the chlorine atom of ketamine would have on the pharmacology?
 
However racemic K is still better than racemic MXE, I would imagine S-isomer would be the same.

I'll hopefully be picking up some new K tomorrow night :D

Probably a lot like ket (analogous to the changing of 4-position halogens in 2C-x/DOx). The only real changes would probably be because of the larger halogen atom in the 2 position (which does make the pseudohalogens an interesting prospect). Even 2-methoxy derivative of ket might be an interesting compound as it seems to be moving a group to a different ring position that causers the most significant change in the subjective effects.


And yes I'm sitting twiddling my thumb(s) waiting for N-ethylnorketamine to show it's pointed little head! =D


PS if S-methoxetamine can be separated using fractional recrystallization it shouldn't be that much more expensive. What makes chiral isomers so expensive is having to start with optically active precursors

Would 2,3 disubstituted compounds be worth investigating or would there be a drop-off in potency a la 4,5 disubbed tryps? I'd also be interested in trying the non-ketone analogues (2-chloroPCE would be a beast, I imagine).

N-ethylnorketamine is sounding gooood. I wasn't a fan of MXE, but it's nothing like ketamine really. I wan't something that produces similar hole and headspace to ketamine, stronger sounds good to me too %)
 
No it's not, it's a mix. The only ket labelled as S-isomer is Ketaset.

Have you got any source to back up that statement?
 
^ Yeah and same, only vials I've really abused properly. I would love to get my paws on some of these Ketaset ones though S-isomer does sound better. Ketamax are still very nice but I need quite a big dose to hole properly.
 
i've had a couple of brands, most i can't even remember the names of but when researched have always turned out to be racemic, I don't think i've had ketaset or indeed s-isomer ketamine but in many respects it sounds superior, on the do list for sure.

N-ethylnorketamine sounds interesting, vendors if you're reading this thread. get to work :)
 
I was trying to source some ketaset but it seems to only be available in the US. And yeah, someone maybe post a thread about N-ethylnorketamine and hope vendors spot it :)
 
So is N-ethylnorketamine simply ketamine but with a two carbon chain on the nitrogen, i.e. 2-Cl-2-Oxo-PCE (following wikipedias nomenclature for methoxetamine which is 3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE - is that even right?)

So that they sort of have a choice with K?

Like if their eyes are open its normal but close your eyes and get the visuals and floating away?
 
I have had a few nasty k holes at clubs that werent pleasant...vodka was involved also...I had to crawl up a stairs to a cubicle till it pased..I felt like I had been dragged though a swamp after it passsed...Less is more at a club in my opinion

I've done tiny bumps off of a key while in a club, but not enough to get sketchy. Just to get a wierd sort of floating super euphoric feeling in combination with the mdma. There are a lot of people who go overboard in the clubs I go to (I think on purpose) and you can see them slumped on sofas trippin their nuts off for half the night. I'm always slightly confused as to why they'd want to go to a night club and hole, but for some people I guess it's fun.
 
It probably makes the whole K hole more intense and possibly more intresting? Has more potential to land you in trouble aswell though.

I've only ever K holed in a club once and it was more due to too much spirits than too much wonk. Lucky a bomb of 2c-i took my back to a state I could move again :D

I'd say just keep the doses small, like 80-100mgs and you'll be sound in a club. Maybe less if your sensitive. Redosing with K is usually an hourly thing for me.

I enjoy K in pubs and clubs, someone on here labelled it as psychadelic cocaine ages ago. Accurate description really.

I agree 110%. Dark room, some sort of glowing object, and some trippy music on :D. Line - bong hit - double balloon of laughing gas - hyper spaaaaceeee!
