Ketamine-crazy experience

So this passed weekend I snorted about 250-300 mg of ketamine, or so I thought. I've done k in the past (5 or 6 times in my life) from the same supplier each time and have never experienced such an intense k-hole; this time around (got it from random of party) I was hallucinating, experienced an out of body experience and had no idea where I was at during the trip. When my "babysitter" asked me if I wanted to go out for a cigarette, I said yes, and yet, my body would not allow me to get up. The hallucinations were very intense; when I came back to reality, it was as if I just returned from another planet.
Was this just highly potent ketamine or do you think it was cut with something? The 5-6 times I did prior was all from the same person and the hallucinations I had were very mild. Also, I watched the person (5-6 times guy) cook the liquid into powder in front of me so I know his was not cut.

I want to know what I took. I was very scared because that experience was
Nothing I've ever experimented on k. Are there certain types of k that are stronger than others? Or is it possible I did something that was either k or something entirely different? Please help.

Different batches of ketamine may produce slightly different effects and it is possible that some are more potent than others.

I've attempted to k hole over 50 times now on different batches. Of these I've probably had about 10 out of body experiences that were highly visual. During the peak I'd completely lose touch with my physical body and enter a state similar to a psychedelic, disorienting lucid dream. Even music which I'd leave playing became either alien or seemingly too distant to hear in this state. On coming down from the peak I'd begin to recognize my external environment but found movement either difficult or impossible for another few minutes.

It sounds like perfectly normal strong ketamine effects, what you decribe is a dissociative void - some would argue that during a K-hole there is no more connection to the outside world, so that might not be the right term here, but loss of sense of self / ego as in depersonalised dissociation is one of the main effects of dissociatives. It can happen with other drugs as well like MXE and 3-MeO-PCP.

Sorry, we don't really allow ID questions but I don't think it is even necessary because there is nothing that would make me suspect that it was not ketamine, even if you haven't experienced this before.

That is a gross overstatement. The psychoactive effects of benzethonium chloride and the prevalence of optically pure separate isomers of K are both quite minor compared to the wide range of possible effects normal racemic ketamine itself can have, a lot of which can be very bizarre and anything from scary to ecstatic to emotionally neutral / muted.

So for the most part what you say is a myth and people project their expectations onto their experience, resulting in a placebo-like bias that a batch has a certain character that exists independently, veritably and verifiably...

This is a very common fallacy that is also seen with batches of LSD or ecstasy pills, I'm sure that whether in a certain region product is laced (cut would be an incorrect term) or not with other psychoactives, there will always be even more cases where people guess at impurities to explain away side-effects that are known for a drug, though those side-effects just don't always present themselves to an equal and consistent extent.

^^^^ Very interesting.

I can also fully feel how different "batches" of ketamine vary from each other. But so many factors come into play in these experiences, that it would be hard to peg down one factor over another for certain.

I've had some ketamine that felt very "cosmic" so to speak. I was walking around street performer festival and did a couple of bumps and things got weird. Not like the usual vision gets blurry/shuttery but almost like a when your vision on mushrooms get sharper and you have a weird perspective. Funny thing is people were calling it cosmic ketamine even when I talked to a person in another province before this event.

sounds like 3-meo-pcp type visuals

Ketamine is an anesthetic, which explains your inability to stand up and walk outside for a cigarette, especially at that dose.
