Ketamine Appreciation thread

Ketamine hasn't ruined the party scene, irresponsible users have, there's a difference.
And you feeling sick on it, have you been drinking when you've used it?
 
I don't enjoy K at all either. Just makes me feel ill and drowsy. Have tried it in doses from about 30mg to 200mg in a line and never enjoyed the wobbly mild effects and definately did not enjoy the severe K-holes either! Even though I know some people like drugs like this it is not for me, I like to be up buzzing, talking codshit at 100mph :D

I read somewhere "katemine is like the marmite of drugs - you either love it or you hate it" so true IMO. Most people I know either love K or hate it. For me horse tranquilizer about says it all, but I know for some they like the trippy weirdness. Its just far too weird and warped a head on for me to enjoy it, I don't find it in any way euphoric or nice at any dose. :|
 
yes captain codshit your exactly right you either love or hate it. its a good job we can get decent pills then dude !!

Fair play to anyone who does enjoy K, i just find it hard to understand how anyone enjoys such a weird drug..?!
 
I find it pretty enjoyable, I was using it daily for about a month a while ago but I've had a decent break off it since then.

I enjoy the weirdness :)

Can understand the love/hate relationship people have with it. I don't think of it solely as a horse tranquilizer, hate it when people just refer to it as that, its also used to anaesthetise people/babies/small animals so *shrug* It was first used on American soldiers in Vietnam :D

been_head you probably felt sick cause you were drinking, if you'd tried it without alcohol you'd probably have a better time.
 
all the wonk heads in my area drink on it so maybe drinking is the reason im not sure really, fairplay if you like it tho its cheap, easy to get and pure
 
Drinking with it is more pleasurable for those who are used to using k, I've noticed.
I've never met a first or not many times user who enjoyed alcohol with it.
 
I agree completely Carsick, it really appears to react badly for first time users but those who have some experience with the drug tend to find good effects.
Cider+Ketamine, good old zummerset thing :P
 
I'm experieneced enough with ket but alcohol has never gone with it for me, just ends in feeling a bit queasy.
 
You've got to learn the high, know what your limits are. Realise the fact that if you have 1 more beer/any more alcohol it might make you feel queezy and don't do it(likewise for that "one more bump"), just takes some self control really.
 
whoremoaning & Evad - Yeh i kow its used on babies too and only massive doses on horses. It was used long before that, i know some people who absolutely love K, just doesn't ever pan out well for me. What i ment is for me horse tranquilizer would describe how it effects me, doesnt seem to matter what dose i take i just feel completely tranquilized and fall asleep after 2-3lines :| Been sick a few times with it too. Guess i'm just not cut out for the ketamine :)

it's the same as calling gbl paint stripper et al, don't add to the bullshit propaganda that drug users have to face.
 
Eh? No what i'm saying is it felt like it was too much for me. That is why i said it, it feels like enough to wipe me out 2-3 times over that is why i used those words.

haha indeed, it was developed for use on humans as an anaesthetic and still is used in a small minority of cases. The amount of time I've mentioned K to someone and they look at me with disgust and say "isn't that a horse tranquiliser?" and I just want to smack them across the face lol
