hello. i know that ketamine is anesthetic, but is it possible that after snorting only small ammount (15mg max, more like 10mg I think) and feeling pretty normal, I feel no pain while snorting 2-cb and 4-fa? i mean those two substances are said to be one of the most painful shit to put up your nose but i really did not feel even small discomfort snorting them. i usually dont snort stuff and i cried even after snorting mpa once, so i am not a hardhead at all, thats why i was so surprised that it was so easy for me to do both substances mentioned above. thanks for any info.

i don't understand the question... is ketamine painful snort? is that it? also i didn't realise you could snort 4fa... or is it just not advised because of the painful burn when snorted?

no, ketamine is not painful to snort at all, but 4-fa and 2-cb are but i felt no pain while snorting them, which is strange. my question was if it is possible that it was due ketamin use beforehand.

^^agreed... isn't the BA of 4fa far higher when taken orally though?

well honestly i snorted 4-fa purely by accident - had 60mg ready for oral use, but mistook it for ketamine and snorted it instead. did not release the mistake until like 10 minutes later when i started feeling very energetic and happy and generally great. i dont know about 4-fa BA, but to me it seems it must by higher vie insulfation since 60mg orally would not work so well... also other amphetamines like speed or meth have higher BA when snorted, why would be 4-fa be different?

it is really great news for me that even small dose of ket beforehand allows me to snort other stuff painlessly, will be very handy especially with 2c substances :D

It might also be the way that the actual shard conditions your nasal passageways. I have noticed depending on the weather/humidity and the way my nose feels, sometimes the same chemical will burn a lot and sometimes not at all.

thanks - ha, i really hope it was more due to ket and that i am not in for nasty surprise next time i snort 2-cb or 4-fa :D was really nicely surprised how well these two chems work this way...

Yes, as you said, ketamine is an anesthetic. Ketamine does have topical anesthetic properties as well as general, and is also an analgesic, so it could definitely make you feel pain less, even in low doses. Some compounding pharmacies even make topical ketamine gel, with a very low concentration of ketamine, to apply to painful areas, so it makes sense that it could have numbed your nose to the pain of snorting the other drugs.

I don't think this thread has a lot of harm reduction value though. If anything using ketamine to numb one's nose in order to be able to snort drugs that would normally burn a lot seems like enabling oneself to more harmful drug use. So I'm going to close this but please PM me if you feel there was valid discussion remaining to be had. Thanks :)
