Ketamine after valium?

My friend (literally my friend :P) took 5mg of valium earlier (about 5 hours ago) and wondered if it would be safe to take some ketamine now? I'm aware that they're both CNS depressants, so we're worried there might be health implications..

I think the bigger danger would more lie in the state of mind combining ketamine and valium could do.
I've never tried it but I could imagine it could put him in a very delerious state where he could hurt himself.
However if he keeps his doses low and controlled I don't see any other danger, but definitely don't quote me on this.

5mg of valium is not a large dose, and after 5h it won't be much of a concern, go right ahead.

A sitter is a good idea, as always.

I've done that combination plenty of times, also ketamine with other benzodiazepines. Personally I think valium dulls the ketamine experience, making it somewhat less interesting, although not weaker, just not as interesting. A lot of my friends have also done this combination; for as far as we know it's rather safe. I've also combined ketamine with 5 mg of flunitrazepam (roofies), which would be around 50 mg of valium if you compare benzodiazepines, which was fine too... all anekdotal 'evidence' though; me and everyone I know are always fine combining ketamine with benzo's but that's no proof ofcourse.

If you want to be save, take a lower dose of K then you normally would and see how it goes.
