This is just a very basic time log of my first ketamine experience. I have trouble remembering most of my mindstate during this experience and I really enjoyed it, but wish I could remember more of it. I'll definitely be trying ketamine again.
The elapsed time is estimated as my sense of time was severely disrupted.
+0 My friend injects around 60 mg of ketamine into my arm
+5 I close my eyes and lie back, as still as possible as my friend suggested.
+10-15? I begin to have the sensation of flying through a tunnel behind my eyelids. This sensation was actually physical.
+20-40? Completely removed from my surroundings, I see various oddly constructed landscapes with the sensation of flying around as just a point of awareness. I feel like I'm swirling in space with various energies, images and colors flowing through me. I still have a sense of self and that I'm on a drug, but the fact that I'm in a room and on a bed doesn't register. (My memory gets very fragmented here)
+45-50? I hear a loud noise and wonder what it is. I realize I'm in my room with my eyes closed. I open my eyes and I quickly become aware of my surroundings. I look around the room and see my friend quietly listening to music in a chair.
+50? I close my eyes and attempt to return back to my headspace and can't, I realize I'm coming down.
+60? I get out of bed to get a glass of water and become very nauseous. The nausea quickly dissipates when I lie back down.
