keppra and ecstasy

i take one low dose keppra pill a day but am going to roll this weekend, i know you are supposed to take keppra the same time everyday for it to work best, but i take my keppra at 10 at night. I wanted to kno if anyone knew if its fine to still take it at 10 when im probably going to take either mali or e at 9? should i still take the keppra at 10 or take it earlier? advice please!

Keppra (Levetiracetam) -is normally given to people with epilepsy. If this is why your taking it then you should not be taking MDMA.

Even skipping your dose so you can use MDMA is simply not worth the risk.

IF however you dont care and your going to do it anyway then ...try and leave as long as possible before dropping your MDMA.

I personally have epilepsy, though I refuse meds for it, and I've never had a problem rolling. The medication itself wont cause any problems rolling, so you don't have to skip taking it. As long as you're aware of the fact that there is a possibility that the MDMA could cause a seizure, and are willing to risk it, there aren't really any other problems. Try not to worry too much though, it could kill your roll. Just be safe, and don't do it anywhere like a rave your first time. Make sure you drink enough, but not too much, water and have fun!

To my knowledge there is no interaction between Keppra and MDMA. They act on totaly different molecules.

i've varied the time of my morning keppra dosage by as much as 3-4hrs and have not had any downside. i have been seizure-free for as long as i've taken keppra.

My personal opinion is that it aint best to change your medication habit, but glad to know it went well.
