yeah--
check out "the electric kool-aid acid test" the author slips my mind, but it's all about ken kesey and hunter s thompson and that crew. it talks about one flew over the cuckoo's nest and gives some great insights as to what both thompson and kesey were thinking when they wrote their most famous books.
you've probably seen "fear and loathing in los vegas" ,but you should give the book a try...it's incredibly more interesting than the movie...imagine that.

it's called where the bufflao roam.
it's really really funny. bill murray couldn't have done a better job.
there is a site out there somewhere called
the great thompson hunt
it used to be rather good, but the problem is that they move all of the time and it's hard to keep up. i don't know where it is now, but check these sites out http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Harry_Wykes/links.htm#Gonzo

this one's really interesting too http://aimwebdomain.aspen.com/hunter/
enjoy.

also, try "Demon Box" by Ken Kesey. It's written after Electric Kool Aid Acid Test came out. It's dramatic essays basically, factual fiction. Very good.

Read Thompson's Hells Angels and Proud Highway...He briefly visits Kesey with the Angels in Hells Angels...and Proud Highway is a large chunk of correspondense of HST's.
Enjoy.
The weasals are closing in.
