I have two keloids (I think, at least raised scars) which I got when I had sebaceous cysts removed. This was 5 months ago, and I can still feel them which is very annoying. It's like a very low-tone ache for the most part, sometimes when I touch them it stings or itches a little bit.
They have gone from purple to red to almost skin coloured and are not as raised as they used to be but I can still feel them and it's sort of like a mild but chronic back ache.
Any similar experiences? Is there anything I can do about it, surgically? Will it subside if I wait long enough?
Is touching/massaging them good to stimulate nerve and skin cell renewal or will it make things worse?
