Keeping cannabis fresh while away.

So I am going on two trips back to back. I won't be smoking during either of them and do not believe there will be much time to between them. The problem is that I still have three nugs left over from an eighth. I do not want them to over dry. Right now I am keeping them in an empty chewing tobacco tin, which is stored in a cool, dark place. Will it be good let's say 20-30 days later when I am back?
 
Right a cool dark place of course (basement?). A mason jar or even grape jelly jar would be better than a chewing tobacco tin in my opinion because I'm pretty sure there would be less airflow. Don't worry about wrapping it in any thing just stick it in the jar.

Cigar\weed\other shops cell things called a humidor. Its a tiny ball that slowly releases moisture. You just wet it its totally re-usable. It costs 99 cent for a mini humidor which should be enough for a half ounce. These were traditionally for cigars but people have found other uses...
 
I would like to add that I have had the bud already for 30+ days. It is not at the so dry it is harsh stage yet but I am worried that putting on an extra 30 days will do the trick.
 
Maybe stick them in a glass jar, and back int the cool, dark place. They should be fine.
 
What is with people thinking that pot can "go bad"? As long as you don't get it wet or let it get mold on it, it will basically be good forever.
 
Put your nugs in an airtight Mason jar. It doesn't have to be huge either they make small ones perfect for storing herb. :) They'll be fine.
 
if he's going to be away for 30 days, DON'T PUT ANY MOISTURE in the jar.

everyone knows you can 'freshen' up a nug with some orange peel or bread to donate some moisture, but you want to REMOVE the orange peel before 24 hours or things WILL get moldy.

just let your nug dry out while you're away, you can always re-freshen it when you get back.
 
3 nugs left of an eighth? why dont you just smoke that shit and stop worrying abuot it?
 
Glass jar or plastic tupperware with rubber seals.

When I went to college in Fl I would come home to NJ and always have weed sitting waitin for me. It sat for months, if it is sealed airtight..it only gets better honestly. The weed cures overtime. It's like the smell would increase.

Unless you're the type that doesn't have a lot of money but still manages to find 20 for a dub almost everyday, and smokes it within a few hours.


I almost never store anything. Even when i was selling i would just leave it in sealed ziplock bags and it worked fine. I would get a new pack within a week but either way it didn't really dry out at all.

And to each his own i guess but why bother saving 3 nugs from a slice? 3 hours before or between those 2 trips is all the time you would need.
 
I hate dealers who can't properly store their weed. Its really not that hard to clean out a glass jar and use it as a weed jar. It keeps the bud fresher along with curing it all the mean time, giving it a tastier high.
 
a mason jar or an airtight container. i can't believe people need to ask this question. have you even been to a grocery store before and took a look at all the things that are stored in airtight containers?
 
Yeah I am sorry but this post is retarded.

First of all, your stressing abou $5 of weed, who the fuck cares if you even just left it sitting out on a table for 6 months, it would be brittle and dry as fuck but you woudl still be able to smoke it.

It's common sense, put it in something air tight. Who the fuck cares its a fucking joint of weed.
